A commandment is an order or command to do or not do something, as in the 10 Commandments.

An amendment is an addition or change to an existing policy or document, as in the Amendments to our Constitution. An example - the Second Amendment.

thou shalt check under your carpet for moisture and rust

I looked under, cried, and put the carpet back. It's bad, real bad, and I don't have the skills to fix it.

if it was the only rust, I'd find a way to get it fixed.  if the rockers and bedsides are also toast, then...well... :(

thou shalt, whenst thou taketh notice of a [ ]||||||||[ ] front end, wait in childish anticipation of viewing the backside of said vehicle (such as whenst one passes thou on the other side of thine road) to determine whether it is a Cherokee or Comanche.

Thou shalt see another Comanche from a mile away.

and pause the tv because we thought we saw one in the background...

and snap a photo to share (this one was in a vehicle repair lot on Bait Car)
