Same exact width as I have now and exactly 2" taller than the 31s I'm running now. My calibrated eyeball says there's plenty of room for that height difference. But haven't calibrated it in awhile............

My 285/60/18 is close to your desired size, I rub.

 

Will be ordering Bushwackers in the next week, waiting for sale.

I have been running them for years. They are mounted on the stock rims and I have 4.5" of lift. Also changed my gearing to 4.56.

That's precisely why I got the ACOS.......3" up to 4" and I still rub.

 

I'm a little wider and I'm not on stock wheels......but.........

Would love to send you some pics, but I am in New Mexico and my mj is in Washington. Your going to get rubbing on your lower control arms. I first put the 33s on when I had about 3" lift. It works but its tight. I then went with Rubicon 4.5 springs, also there upper and lower control arms. This set up works great for me. I don't hard core wheel with it though. They also make a 33-9.5-33 and that's what I have for a spare.

33-9.5-33 is a Pizza cutter. Don't think you would be happy for main tires as far as looks go, but tucks up nice for the spare. Are you on stock offset wheels? Stock offset will rub on control arms , less will rub on fenders. You should be fine with your 4.10 gears. I had the 33s with the stock 3.07 gears at first. What a dog, didn't even use 5th on the highway.

 

Love the way the 33.10.5s look though. I get a lot of compliments when I go out.

Yes, stock offset 7" wide Jeep turbine wheels. I think the 33x10.5x15's will fit. They are the same 10.5 width as my 31s so no control arm rub should happen, and the 2" difference in tire height (30.7" vs. 32.7") looks like it won't be a problem all around the circumference of the tires. Plus I have 1.25 spacers on the rear. Thanks for your info Pike.

 

If anyone has any more info as to why these won't fit, let me know. Open to all info.  :cheers:

Agree. No worries with the WJ LCAs, but the stock UCAs could be close. If only someone made a 32x10.5x15 tire............

 

And cutting anything for clearance is not an option.  :yes:

Thanks PFC - exactly what I wanted to see. Those meats look great. You are roughly 2.5" higher than I, so it would be a tight squeeze in the wheel wells for moi.

one of the offroad mags did 33x9.5s or 10.5s on a ZJ with a 3" lift a couple years back.  I seem to remember they extended the bump stops a bit.  it is only 1" more radius than you have now.  how hard can it be? :D

I'll be replacing my 32 x 11.5 with exactly these tires .  I hope they don't look dumb being so skinny and all... 

But yea my fenders are cut (a lot) and I'm not on stock wheels.  

 

Every time I start considering a different tire (besides the BFG T/A KOs) I just keep coming back to it.  C load range, 15" rim, with that sweet tread design is hard to beat.

A 10.50 should be on a 8" wheel, not a 7" wheel.

 

Will it fit? sure. 10.50 section width should give you a little less than 9" of tread. To get the tread flat you'll need to run about 28lbs pressure on a 7" wheel. (with your sidewall all sucked in like a doughnut)

A 33" tire on a 15" wheel has a tall sidewall.

When you under inflate, the wheel moves laterally within the tire, back and forth. Performance suffers. Specifically why I chose a 60 sidewall.

 

 

You guys who go hick with your MJ/XJ.....crawlers......could, for obvious reasons, care less about overall performance.

The 10.50s will be fine on the 7" wheels. You already have spacers in the rear and they should easily clear the frame rails. You may have some rubbing issues up front on the edge of the flares when hitting a bump and turning.

Honestly people who believe in book learning like it is the only gospel can be a bit preachy. And as for overall performance that is your opinion.

 

Some Felix Ungers micrometer their eggs in the morning because only one size is their version of "right". Anyway it is better to be a hick than a... Crap. Can't remember. Sounds like hick but was vaguely anatomical. :)

I run my 35x12.50R15's on my XJ on 15x7 Ultra wheels ... Performance is just fine, both on and off road, although I do realize I'm not in a Ferrari.

And they have held the bead as low as 5psi (actually had one burp down to 2psi before, that got close) although I generally run 10psi.

Old school poor man's beadlocks, as hick as hick can be I guess.
