HOrnbrod
Picked up a set of five take-off 2014 JK Sahara wheels and tires with about 10 miles on them. I got them to eventually replace the wheels/tires on Mama's JK; she's run up to almost 50K already. But the more I look at them, the more I'm digging them for my MJ. I'm pretty sure there will be no fitment problems. The Michelin 31" tires I have on now are 30.8" in diameter; the new 18" JK Bridgestone tires are 32.1" diameter. A bit over 1/2" taller all around, so no problems there. Of course I'll need a set of SpiderTrax adapters to convert to the 5x5" bolt pattern, and with the ~ 2-1/2"-3" lift I have I see no clearance problems. What do you guys think? I'm diggin' this wheel...........

teamsmith
From a purely cosmetic standpoint, my opinion is that they look too modern for a Comanche.

HOrnbrod
Thanks Gary. Yep, those wheels will be going on the JK where they belong.
CGCWO
Thought about this for my MJ also, my opinion after much deliberation I chose to go with the older Canyons. The new wheels do look very nice and the Sahara's are the best. May have to source a set for our JK in the future.
shelbyluvv
I tried the JK route on my truck. It ultimately ended up costing me $700 for new wheels and tires. I personally think 17s or larger wheels are too much for a M/XJ wheel well.

Jeepman
Flares are 2 door XJ Bushwacker cut away... I had them colour matched when the truck was painted....

Now that I see them on an MJ, I agree with you. Happy to contribute. I remember this truck was up for sale on craigslist last year and others chimed in on how bad those wheels looked. They do look pretty terrible on this all black truck, but they may look better on yours with all the chrome and fancy bits.
