Dadinator
Here is my cheapo headliner solution. I got tired of trying to find a headliner board that wasn't in terrible shape. Picked up this fatigue mat for $17. Glued it up and trimmed. It is by no means perfect, but looks way better than the bare metal. Matches the floor mats too. :)
Knucklehead97
I freaking love it! That will look great in mine once I paint the interior and install my rubber floor. Finally an idea for a cheap headliner that I liked :D

91Pioneer
Personally I prefer the OEM look so I wouldn't do it, but it looks great, good job!

Nobles41
Great idea. Will it stay up there when your cab roof gets hot in the summer or did you insulate the roof before gluing the mat on? Keep us posted. Might go this route on mine.
Dadinator
Straight to roof. 3m contact cement. We'll see if it can take the heat.

HOrnbrod
A rubber floor mat? Agree it looks better than bare metal. Hope it hugs the roof tight over the summer. Nice ingenuity.
Dadinator
It is more of a foam. About 1/4" thick.
Mattman6
Where did you pick this up and do you remember the size it was? Harbor freight has one, but it looks to be way too small. I really want to do this in my truck.
DirtyComanche
I was going to say it won't stay, but if it's the foamy stuff it probably will. Contact cement, despite being 'for use on rubber' doesn't hold rubber that well. Great idea, I'm going to have to see if I can find that stuff around here. ScottJeep
That is totally awesome! My roof is covered in sound mat so I'd be all over this. Like it better than the headliner board I paid to have recovered. Where purchased?
