Lowly
So somewhat related to my MJ. I did this today. I am not sure if it was a good idea. :brows: Soon to find out anyway. Thoughts. Yes I know it dims the light output.
shelbyluvv
It sucks! My trucks were done by the PO and you can't see the tail lights at all during the day. Buy some Goof Off spray and remove it while you still can!
dunnc1991
I can see doing turn signals, but KC driving lights.... That makes no sense to me
Incommando
It is like saggy pants and a flatbiller cap turned backwards: it doesn't need to make sense as long as it is cool. Killing the output of aux. lights designed to provide more light just to look hip? I may have lived too long :)
87Warrior
I have never liked tinted lights, saggy pants or flat billed caps. But apparently some folks do. Doesn't bother me either way :)
Lowly
The good news is it is a certain sort of paint that with a little rubbing alcohol it comes right off. I tested it. But I figure if it's reversible why not see what it looks like. I wanted to go for a look like the holy grail of Comanches the Thunder Chief. Hoping it turns out something like this. Lol knew most of ya wouldn't like it too much. But I want to see how it turns out.

Pete M
it's the eternal debate between what looks good on a poster and what keeps you safe on the roads. also, I got to touch the thundercheif once :D
Lowly
^ lucky dog. I love those pictures on Facebook. I look at them more than I should. Being that the only one it makes it the holy grail of Comanches. :D
JeepsOLot
Ok, gotta ask, what makes a Comanche a "Thunderchief"? Jerry
shelbyluvv
Being the one and only Thunderchief ever built. It was a concept vehicle built by Jeep. It is currently sitting in a warehouse owned by Chrysler in Michigan.

Acrylic Paint - Isopropyl alcohol will definitely smear it, but it will take a ton to actually remove it. This is the worst thing to come across after sanding a panel that has been previously repaired with the wrong type of paint. I start to wipe it down for repainting and the rag hits the area with acrylic paint instantly sticking to it like dried glue.
