Dkfiii88manche
I will never sell my '88 manche! First night that I took her home I stopped to fill her up with fuel, I had this guy offer me $4000 for her. I only paid $2000 for her. She has 104,000 on the engine. She may not have a back window yet and the proper dash, but I am in love. She is such a good truck!! Just put on a new water pump, fan clutch, fuel pressure regulator, plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, and changed her oil. Everywhere I go, no matter what time of the day it is, I get compliments on her. The guy I bought it from didn't know what he had, and I am so greatful!! I will never sell her, or trade her. Jessica is home at last!!! I'm currently looking for an apartment that has a garage or carport so I can preserve her. I'm going to pick up my rear sliding window on Friday or Saturday. Then all I need is the correct dash for my '88 Manche, and a 4,000 lb wench for her.
lil_loco
Sounds sweet. And I agree never sell and preserve her well. I feel the same about my 86.

Incommando
$2000 for a Comanche with no window or dash? I wondered if I overpaid for my complete one at $400. Where is my for sale sign....

shelbyluvv
I'll take $3000 for Onyx and $3500 for Betty. I know those prices are far fetched so it looks like I keep them both!

Blue88Comanche
I have had several people offer to buy my Blue MJ over the past several years, not going to happen. Then all I need is the correct dash for my '88 Manche, and a 4,000 lb wench for her. How about at least a 8,000 lb winch. you want a one with at least 1.5 times the pull rating to your MJ weight. (1.5 x Jeep weight = min winch) sign up for the 4wd.com club program, there are instructions somewhere on the forum, then when you order something from 4wd.com just call give them your member number when you order and you can save up to 10% on some items. I got my 8,000 lb SmittyBilt winch for about 275ish from 4wd.
Comanche County
Of all the Jeeps I've owned, my MJ is probably the only one that I have some sentimental attachment to. But I would sell it if the right buyer came along. I wouldn't sell it to anyone that shaves their chest or utters the word "mud" or mentions "44s", or anyone that thinks its a Toyota. Especially if youre at your wits end with it like I am. Id like to sell it right now, but nobody would buy it for my asking price. Guess I'm keeping it. lil_loco
I've sold one before for 3500$ but it came back to me abandoned. Like a curse or blessing depending on how you cut it.
jimoshel
As much as I hate the idea, it's time for me to start thinking of selling. Wife has made it clear she's not messing with them, just call in a portable crusher. No heirs so what's left? :dunno: :dunno:
