ComancheKid45
Mine was built by Ben (Neohic) Its held up great over the past 2.5 years.
GirsMJ86
I plan on getting the JCR one in a year or so with all the options, or at least have the local fab shop clone it if they can do it for less. Wish I had the money right now to get it since it's $60 off and free shipping. Really like how it wraps around the corners mimicking the factory one. Not really armor for the corners (fine for me since I don't ever plan on being on rocks), but nice tow points and a built-in receiver in case I get stuck in snow or happen to get into a mud pit. ctxj93
I bought the JCR one, currently screwing around grinding/sandblasting it. It is pretty freakin pimp though.
johnny quest
i do like the JCR one, but it won't match the front that i just picked up (ORS fab stubby) so i want to build something with a similar minimalistic style. plus, i'll be trimming the rear corners like in the pics above
hassyfoto
Interesting bumper, first one that appears to me. Would like to know if anyone had bought this and the amount of time invested to weld it together.
SW86
just make one exactly like the old style front JCR ones but adjust for the rear thats what i eventually plan on doing but its down the list a ways....
jpnjim
I chopped up & bastardized a pre-fab front bumper kit: + with the mounts from the old bumper: and got this: build thread: http://comancheclub.com/topic/17857-new-rear-bumper-thread/

Know we all have to watch our $$. My RANT follows! BUT if we have a local fab shop (or a Chinese fab shop) clone somebody's design, how can we expect vendors to make or adapt product for our Comanche trucks??? It is this kind of rush for cheaper products that has given us C.R.A.P - Chinese Replacement Auto Parts. I have seen too much in the way of C.R.A.P. that just doesn't last. And YES, I am GUILTY of the same thing. I purchased C.R.A.P replacement lenses for the fog lights on my VW Passat, instead of genuine Hella glass European made lenses. Serves me right that the C.R.A.P fog lights have to be BASTARDIZED to come close to fitting. If I recall correctly, JCR prices are quite reasonable, but freight to San Diego is not so reasonable. Even at that, JCR price + freight is better than some local fabrication places. I am just across the border from Tijuana, Mexico. Bet you I could bet a hell of a cloned bumper made in TJ for even less than JCR. A couple of years ago, my Comanche was stolen from a friends house in TJ. Now, my friend's brother-in-law is a TJ (Tijuana for those of you who are not local) Cop. Well, the truck was recovered in 18 hours. They (TJ Policia) grabbed one perp. He is in jail for 8 years. Because my friend lives in TJ, he knows who does good work. We got the truck fixed right for REALLY cheap compared to San Diego prices. The electrician charge only $160 to rewire the whole engine compartment and the interior of the cab. If I paid San Diego rates, I would have junked the truck. RANT mode off! 88whitemanche
Thanks you john My uncle built me this bumper. I've been wanting him to build me a front bumper but I just haven't had the time to visit him.

neohic
Mine was built by Ben (Neohic) Its held up great over the past 2.5 years. Another NeohicBuilt bumper Word's sure getting out now! Few more I've done over the years: Done a bunch more... sometimes plate, sometimes tube... I've got some really nice jigs made up that I don't even need a truck to build off of anymore. I pretty much always just use my standard mounts to the frame and just go from there:
