kawaboy13
Found a 92 Jeep Comanche 4.0 ax15 2wd in town. I know the guy who owns it as of know. I know he ran it somewhat hard. The body is kind of rough. It has a 3" skyjacker lift and over 200k miles. I am supposed to go take a look at it soon and see what the rest of it is like. He says he won't take less. Is it worth it for me to get it with that many miles for that price? Thanks for input
86customanche
If it runs alright and has minimal rust, Id say no doubt its worth it. Gotta check the rust though, thats the biggest thing IMO
gogmorgo
My thought is... it's a '92. That said, if it's going to take work to keep it from falling apart, dunno. Lots of MJ's out there with more than 200k and still doing well. My '91 has near as makes no difference 300k, and apart from some cleaning and maybe $100 in parts (most of which don't need replaced, but still should be), oh and the bondo rockers, it's in decent shape. I'd say it's got lots of life left in it. Definitely post pics.

86customanche
But Jim, isn't that double your limit? Pretty sure he can haggle them down to
terrawombat
Jim, I'd sell you my '92 but I'd be afraid that I'd wind up paying YOU $1500 to take it.
kawaboy13
I haven't been able to go see it yet. It's in southeast texas. I hate that's it's not a 4x4
Sugarfoot
I'd say it's worth, floor boards can be replaced, beds can be replaced. Given time and patients you can find just about anything you need for them. But it takes patients and a few bucks.
