HOrnbrod
Me too Jim. Remembering all the fresh fish fries, and snorkeling / grabbing all the langusta lobsters you need from the reef for free. Uncle limited us to a three year tour, but did manage to stretch it out for five. Would still be there if I could. And had the wife and kids there too for the entire time. But had to return to the real world to retire unfortunately.........
Dirteatr717
Ahhh the superbowl! I was gunna say cheerios were on top of their game this season and frosted flakes held their own against fruit loops but I'm going with Cinnamon Life!
Comanche County
Been to Guam and Tinian. Best snorkeling ever is off of Guam, the water is way clearer than Oahu, and the nightlife ain't too shabby either in Dededo.
HOrnbrod
You were probably at Andersen then, si? I was at the NavCommsSta. Dededo was good, but liked Talafofo a little better. And the barrio fiestas were all good.

HOrnbrod
Crazy game, no gloating from here. Just one comment: If the power outage didn't happen, I think it would have been a Raven blowout. But we'll never know.
ParadiseMJ
Ding! You've got mail!!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwFhhyg-fbo  I'm sad. At least we made 'em nervous. I guess we just gotta be happy with the World Series.

whowey
Oh, and Ray was acquitted a long time ago :D Â No he wasn't... He plead guilty to a much lesser charge, snitched on the other two and the murder charges were dropped. Â Â I didn't care who won, I kinda hoped the field opened up and swallowed both teams. Thought I was getting my wish there for a minute.
terrawombat
So what you're trying to say is that Ray Lewis now has as many Superbowl rings as he does murders? Â RAVENS!! !!!!!

Comanche County
Did anyone notice all the Ravens helmets being pulled off. I thought is was indicative of intentional malicious play by San Fran. You can't tackle or hit someone in the head but its okay to risk paralyzing someone by twisting their helmet till it comes off? Dirty, thugish play. Too bad thugs outnumber good guys in the NFL. HOrnbrod
Possibly an equipment problem? I don't think intentional thuggery was involved at all, just hard football. The young Niners got beat in the end by a more experienced team, especially the QB's at the end in spite of the momentum shift caused by the power outage. Flacco was for sure the MVP, and the Raven defense shut the Niners out at the end. Also older bro John out-coached younger bro Jim at the end with the punter play running around in the endzone killing the clock. Brilliant....... Comanche County
You may be right, but the numerous scuffles were another indicator. I think the young niners were frustrated and resorting to desperate measures.
RubberDuck
A few niners helmets were popping off too. I lost a bet on the game and had to shave three months growth on my chin with a cut-throat. i'm bleeding under my lip, but i'm as smooth as a well, you know. HOrnbrod
Probably Jay. But desperation is the usual reaction when inexperienced youngsters get frustrated. Not only in football but in everything. The older experienced dogs always win, up to a point. Watch out for the Niners next year.

Agreed the two timeout errors and the failure of Colin Kaepernick to run the ball into the end zone in the end lost the game. Considering one of the best defenses in football got taken from a 28-3 lead romp to a 34-31 squeaker I think the young niners will be trouble in the future. As for my house there is an old saying wife happy home happy!
codymanche
the reason why the helmets come off so easy is because they don't strap up all the way. my coach in high school wouldnt let us go out on the field till u were fully strapped up. that means all four snaps not three or two like the pros. when i watched the games there is atleast 2 of the snaps maybe three but never four.
