'92 MJ...Seeing it for sale on the internet; hauling @$$ north 3 hrs to buy it, and learning it was a 1 owner, Jeep dealer service manager owned vehicle pampered its entire life. What owner loves best about CC The fact it's all Comanche-- with owners across the nation buying/ building/ sharing their trucks with others on the forum. I've seem some creative, highly detail-driven stuff done with your MJ's and I look forward to seeing more of it. How the '89 MJ looked a few months after I bought it (yes, that's my @$$) It's was together once back in 2003...then I decided to tear it apart and upgrade to ('91 MJ) High Output wiring/ Stroker conversion Stripped the chassis/ underside down then applied 3 heavy coats of Herculiner CR Laurence Power Slider nifty-ness. Wish I bought more than one of these 10 years ago. '89 MJ is getting there SLOWLY but surely. Time to throw-down for the engine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How the '92 MJ looked when I bought it. Rear bumper was mildly bent on the driver's side but other than that the truck was straight. '92 MJ interior when purchased...It had been converted to XJ buckets & center console... ...and I converted it back to a bench seat & mini console. '92 MJ 4wd conversion shot - with the exception of the D30 all parts are OEM new & creak-free so far. '92 MJ exterior recent shot (prior to chrome mirrors & 4wd conversion) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beautiful. Gjeep, both MJ's are an absolute testament to your detail. That '89 will be one of the best built mild rigs on the road. The tasteful touches with the new full window doors and old door panels shows a great desire to keep the originality of the truck, but improve upon the inner workings. The '92 looks to be a great drive, and clean enough to eat off to boot. The mini overhead console is a great addition, and looks like it should have been there from factory. 2 great trucks, one great member. Enjoy the spotlight. Rob Click here to view the article

HOrnbrod
I've had the pleasure of knowing the G-man for a few years now via the forum. I thought I was a nit-pickin SOB, but this guy is off the charts. "Better than new" is often used by used car salesmen and other idiots, but in this case it's pure fact for both of these rigs. The man knows his MJ stuff and it shows, clearly. Enjoy the Hesco in the 89 G.
