Zenobian_84
What colored interior are you guys/(few)gals running? It seems I might be only one (to my knowledge) who still hasn't swapped the AMC "Medium Blue" interior for something else :dunno: Not sure why a lot people think it's ugly; it's like the red-headed stepchild of the MJ interior universe. :ack: Also most noticeably, there's a lot of grey interiors I've seen on build pictures. Can't ever seem to find any grey interior pieces in decent condition down here. Just wondering in the off-chance I want to retire the MB for something with a little more pinash.
jimoshel
I swapped the Blue interior for Maroon in my '87. Not because I didn't like the color but because it was all cracked and busted. The Maroon was like new. I have 3 MJ's and several XJ with Grey interior.
neohic
I have to be honest... if my '88 wasn't an Eliminator it would've gotten a full blue interior swapped in. That and those silly looking skinny steel wheels and beauty rings. I love the "old man pants" blue! There's just something so dated about it! The red (not maroon) is a close second followed by black. No vinyl seats for this guy either. It's all about the checkers! ... Maybe the Eliminator will get a black treatment someday. Maybe...
Pete M
still rockin' the homer-simpson-blue doorpanels. that's about all that's left though. :dunno:

I think that's a better catchphrase than "Medium Blue" As for that bench, that's the stuff that my dreams are made of.  :fs1: Probably won't be until tax season next year until I get my bench re-upholstered. Love checkered patterns; makes the truck look it's age. still rockin' the homer-simpson-blue doorpanels. that's about all that's left though. :dunno: Nothin' wrong with that. :brows:
tbrand
My interior's still blue, with the exception of the tan seats. I couldn't deal with the broken-down bench any longer. I like it - the blue is just a bit different than the gray/black interiors I see a lot.
87Warrior
I have always liked red Jeeps with gray interior, so that is the treatment my 92 is getting. Luckily that is also the color combo it came with from the factory. As you know, I have been converting the Old Man Pants blue in the 86 to black. I am not doing it because I hate the blue, but because the blue was faded and stained beyond cleaning.
camjeep3
I have seen the blue in a few trucks that I liked. My truck came with the grey. I wish It was the tan though
aaronbtxnc
Mine came with the blue, found bucket seats in tan, bought a parts truck with tan, found rust in my blue carpet so now I'm rockin' the tan interior, all except the dash, I'm too lazy to swap them out... Anyone shopping for a blue interior I have one (except a useable seat and the dash that's still in it).
Dirteatr717
Mine came with the darker blue and I love it, just don't love the flat foam in my bench seat
Automan2164
Black interior, IMHO, is the coolest thing since liquid nitrogen. I am sure glundbad won't mind me digging for a pic of his interior: Droolsville man, droolsville. =Rob
HOrnbrod
I think he trashed those seats long ago, si? Now that's Droolsville man, droolsville. :D
mpace6a
Mine has all the OE black in it! Checkered bench seat, black carpet, black dash, door panels, everything but the headliner!
Automan2164
I think he trashed those seats long ago, si? Yep, but I am partial to the checkered goodness that show up in early MJ interiors. Rob
fiatslug87
I've always liked the tan interior, doesn't get as hot as the darker colors and makes the cab seem brighter.

danbyrambler
I like nice interiors & have done a bunch over the years - What I've found is that Blues/greens can be really hard to color match/swap - Greys & tan/brown no prob - White or Black; Duh! Burgundy/burgandy usually no biggie - Haven't found any thing yet for the Jeep maroon; nothing that suits me anyway. NICE - DARK & COZY - IMO GENIUNE FOX WOOD DASH Image Not Found THE FINEST SIMULATED CORINTHIAN LEATHER Image Not Found DD - MY SHOP FOREMAN
