mvusse Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I will probably get historical plates for the Pig next year. Would like to personalize them, but can't think of what to put on them. With historical plates I will be limited to 6 letters or numbers.

1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I took this route: these plates probably say more about me than anything that i could fit into 6 digits.
deziped Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Don't they use numbers like that in Walla Walla????????????
1990 Pioneer 4x4 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Don't they use numbers like that in Walla Walla???????????? I'm not too sure about Walla Walla (except their onions), i live over on the West side of the Cascades.
deziped Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 I was being a wise a--. Thats where the State Pen is located. Also the best sweet onions you can buy are grown there.
COMJNUT Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 colorado sucks about their collector plates, they stopped the progression after 1975 a couple years back, it was a rolling progression but some moron decided that co state needed more income that way...if it stayed the way it was, i would be able to qualify for it in 5 years. :wall:
HOrnbrod Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 I was being a wise a--. Thats where the State Pen is located. Also the best sweet onions you can buy are grown there. :hijack: They are good, but the best is the Vidalia onion from Georgia. They are so sweet you eat em like an apple. Mmmmmmmmmm
mvusse Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Okay, I need votes. The choices are: 1 - 87JPMJ 2 - JEEPMJ
Automan2164 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Either is good... But is one cheaper? In IL, they gouge you because once you have a plate with no numbers, it goes from "Personalized" to "Vanity". Vanity gets pricey. Ask me how I know. Rob
mvusse Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 Historical plates. Only ever have to pay once, no renewal fees ever. And they are both the same $$$ anyway.
Automan2164 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Historical plates. Only ever have to pay once, no renewal fees ever. And they are both the same $$$ anyway. Lucky. I would go with the first one. Rob
cody4359 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 my boss has KINKY1 for his corvette plate, also has a sticker in the job trailer that says "kinky is using a feather, perverted is using the whole damn chicken!" :D

How 'bout '4X4PIG' for the plates?
Automan2164 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 To save money you can use a 1 for the I. Yet another fine rule when living in IL. You can't mix numbers and letters. Have to have a space in between. Can only have 7 digits including spaces. Sorry for the hijack Marcel. I'll keep to myself. Rob :peek:
