Does it work with the factory gauge? i don't know the brand, but you can get different ones depending on the ohms of the factory one. havent powered it up yet, but it SHOULD be the same. also have to use an external fuel pump.
SW86 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Nice. What size cell did you get and what pump are you using? I went rci 12g with the e2000 pump into the stock harness. Maybe I need to update mine since some things have happened as well :)
89eliminator Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 RCI 19 gal with E2000 pump. maybe you can help me with the pump orientation, should the side with the electrical connections be on the tank or engine side? does it matter?
SW86 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Yes it's a pusher pump. The electrical side down stream (engine side). I bought airtex and I'm pretty sure it's marked as well. Mine is mounted below the tank as close as possible to the feed ( I added a bulkhead to the bottom of the tank for better "free flow" aka gravity lol!)
SW86 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Also the first time firing it, you'll need to bleed the air from the pump forward. Just loosen the line at the pump and you'll hear it. I've had to both times I've taken the tank off.
89eliminator Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 ok. thats how i have mine mounted. it did not indicate orientation on it or in the manual. also, are you supposed to keep the rubber "boot" on the pump?
WiscoXJ Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I need to come see this thing. Mine needs an alignment then ill come show you my rustiness lol looks good though man

89eliminator Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 no, still too soft. need to probably get a sway bar but will just get stiffer springs till i can afford an antirock
89eliminator Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 How about some close ups of the work.?Here ya go. Truss is from genright that I got off craigslist for dirt cheap, mounts/heims are from barnes4wd and I'm running 14" FOAs.
neohic Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Very nice with everything, Wade! I like the simplicity of everything. Did you plate the frame any before putting the new mounts on?

It's hard to tell but yeah it's plated. Also have a piece of solid square tube tieing the upper mounts and frame rails together.
