jpnjim
'Grandpa Jeep': viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21028 had 31k when I bought it in January (mileage verified by title, 15+ years of receipts & inspection sticker paperwork) 'her' ZJ died within a week of buying this, so it's been my daily driver since, and now has clicked past 35k miles. I'm trying to keep it 'stockish', and 2wd. Hopefully it will get put away before the snow flies again this year.

jimoshel
I think there should also be a 'High Mileage' thread. Either seperate or share with this one. Original MJ'S, No swapped engines or transmissions. My offering Low mileage 1989 123K. High mileage. 1988 293K
Comanche County
If these trucks ever bring real money in an auction it will be the original low mile trucks. I can't believe a low mileage 90's firebird fetched 31K on one of the TV auctions (HD Theater) recently.
WBKrazy
mine: '88 shortbed, was a 2wd 2.5/ ax-4 truck, now i'm about 3/4 of the way through a 4.0 and 4x4 swap... bought it in '07 with 98k on it, now it has 116k and change
terrawombat
Low mile: '88 Pioneer w/78k High mile: '92 Base w/about 230k My low mile MJ has low oil pressure, overheats, has a possible cracked head, and can barely get me to work 7 miles away. My high mile MJ has great oil pressure, doesn't overheat, runs/shift great, and just made a 450+ mile journey back from Ohio. Seems backwards, doesn't it? This is evidence of what your MJ can be if it's properly maintained. Unfortunately, the PPO of my low mile MJ never changed the oil, greased the front end, or cared to fix anything on it that broke. buxmj
Do we get extra points for high mileage all driven by me, the original owner? 244,000 and still running well. All stock.

dasbulliwagen
I always find it amazing when driving by an auto dealer seeing a car that says "LOW MILAGE" on the windsheild, only to walk up and look at it to find it has 150,000 miles on it. WHAT GIVES?
