I think it looks horrible, I never liked stepsides to begin with, and the rangers is one of the worst they make. Also the MJ and ranger have completely different design language. The MJ is boxy, and the ranger is curvy.

A box wouldn't be hard to find. 91+ MJs are few and far between. I'd buy it.

A $1k for any good condition 4L 4x4 MJ is an excellent price, and more if it's an HO from 91-92. Like this one. goblazers said it, find a MJ box and you're good.

I'm sure one of the reasons for replacing the bed was because of rust. Seeing as it's a northern NY truck, I'd be curious as to what the frame looks like.

Uh oh! Did he sell it? I was going to see what these look like with a stepside box. I was thinking about putting the '90 Chev short/step box I have on mine.
