johnnyc
This is true for the WJ boosters into a renix era MJ, but not for the 91-92 MJs. The 95-96 XJ dual diaphragm booster is a direct bolt-in for the HO MJs and retains the stock pedal height using the 1/4" alum. spacer plate that comes w. the 95-96 booster. I put a WJ booster and master in my 92 MJ and was a direct bolt-in. Same in my 91. Had to use a 1/4" tall stack of washers on each mounting stud (or could have used a 1/4" spacer from a 95-96 XJ booster but I sold the one I had on hand) but was otherwise bolt-in. HOrnbrod
I put a WJ booster and master in my 92 MJ and was a direct bolt-in. Do you have an auto or standard tranny on your 92? AFAIK the booster arm mounts on opposite side of the brake pedal depending on the tranny since there's no clutch pedal.

Pete M
forgot to do my 86. 1- wired in the brake pedal switch (original owner had the brakes on a push button) 2- wired up a switch for the wipers 3- reintroduced the speedometer into the truck and duct taped it to the steering column. AMCJeepMJ
I'm going the more mundane route (if they're even considered 'mods'): 1: canopy for the bed (keeps my crap in the bed out of the rain/snow) 2: gutter mount light bar with KCs (to blind oncoming traffic... uh, I mean for those dark, dark, deer-laden roads around here) 3: bedliner (so I hear the bed's contents sliding about)

MrSimon
1) Lockers!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't say enough how much better wheeling is with lockers 2) Armor/skids. Keeping your vitals from getting bashed into oblivion is pretty important. 3) Reliability. Ok, its not really a mod .... but I've spent a lot of money to get my truck running really well and to make it reliable. Its the best money I've spent on the truck so far. I forgot. I have ZJ canyons on mine so much better looking than the 10-hole stock Eliminator rims IMO. 1) Lockers!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah... you've had a worse run of luck than me. Isn't the transfer case about the only thing that hasn't blown up on you yet? (don't worry, I have a few spares I'll donate if you don't have one, but I suggest carrying one with you while wheeling just in case)
