89eliminator Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 to me, those visors didnt even look stock. they are longer than the ones in my 89.
Geonovast Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Is that steering wheel horn stock? :D That was one of the first things I changed. I had one laying around, so it went on as I was putting in the radio. Rob L. :agree: Renix ones are faaaar cooler to the crappy Chrysler covers.
Automan2164 Posted September 8, 2011 Author Posted September 8, 2011 Nice to see you scored  Nice to see you stop by! I'll have to remember to give you a call tomorrow night... I've got a story for you... Haha. Rob
jimoshel Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Rob,That truck is just to dern nice, and rare, to be in the rust belt. It needs a home where it will be loved, respected, guarded, restored and in a rust free atmosphere. You gonna bring it out or want me to come get it? The Dreamer. :rotf:
whowey Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 He said it was heading to somewhere just as salty...
Kittrell Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Rob, this unicorn still kicking around in your pasture?
Automan2164 Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Unfortunately not. I sold it to afford my factory diesel MJ, and the current owner painted it orange... :fs2: Rob
Kittrell Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Oh crap, this guy? I didn't know that was the same one, sad story.
Automan2164 Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Yep. While I do appreciate the fact that they put a lot of work into the truck, I regret ever selling it, and have ever since the instant I found out it's fate. Is what it is, but I really wish it would have went to someone who was going to maintain it as the anomaly it was. Rob
ComancheKid45 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I did what I could to convince him otherwise.....lol. Its still a very nice truck and turns alot of heads. For those who don't know the green part of the Eliminator decals is color matched Hunter metallic green, I did talk him into that so even though it may not be the dominant color on the truck anymore, It will always be part of it ;)
ComancheKid45 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Sadly my uncle passed away a few weeks back and this thing will likely be in my driveway in the near future. But man has it been through it over the last 13 years..... I plan for it to become my new daily. I'll gladly post some photos in due time.
neohic Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Sorry to hear, bro. Has the truck been driven and enjoyed over the past 11 years?

My uncle enjoyed it up untill 2022 when he had a spinal stroke that unfortunately he never recovered from. His grandson then ran this truck for an 8 month or so period and absolutely beat the crap out of it.....it has been sitting since last winter in his driveway. It needs some TLC and love but it still a street able truck.

ComancheKid45 Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Should be bringing this beaten and battered soul home tomorrow. It's needs some love but will be back on the roads soon. ☺️
neohic Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Good that the truck is still around. Give it a good home!
ComancheKid45 Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 After a few weekends of love, I drove this fella to work this evening. I have my eyes on a set of proper Eliminator wheels for it 😉 This truck will replace my 1988 2wd i have campaigned since 2012.
ComancheKid45 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Ok, its not Hunter Green but a good coat of bedliner on the lower body and fender flares helped this truck out alot.
