STERLING STINGER Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 can i get some pics and possibly specs on your fabbed front bumpers so i can get an idea for mine? thanks!
87mjdriver Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 here's mine I had to cut a little of the body behind the bumper but it tucks the bumper in and protects the winch. thats a warn M8000 in there.
89eliminator Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 mine with Warn M8000, solenoid box under the hood.
jimoshel Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Made from scrap metal from the scrap pile. Made for one thing only. To push with. Was going to mount a snowplow on here, the 2 holes, but put it on another J20 I have instead. Just to help you get ideas.
TrailReadyMJ Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Those are all nice! But what is the reasoning behind the angled D ring tabs? Just curious, looks "off" compared to the rest of the bumper(s). Here's mine. I plan to revise it for a winch.... eventually.

bigalpha Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Those are all nice! But what is the reasoning behind the angled D ring tabs? Just curious, looks "off" compared to the rest of the bumper(s). Looks like there wouldn't be enough room to burn them into the bumper if they were mounted vertically.
Blue XJ Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Here's mine, its mostly 1/8" plate, except the winch cradle area is all 1/4". It ties into all the steering box bolts as well as the large one behind that. Image Not Found
holeski Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 But what is the reasoning behind the angled D ring tabs? Just curious, looks "off" compared to the rest of the bumper(s). To make people ask me why I did it that way! It's not like we sling load our Jeeps like the Military does so it doesn't really matter how they are arranged as long as they are on there well. The go all the way though the box steel and fully welded on both sides.
STERLING STINGER Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 anyone else got any more pics for me for ideas?
