Jealous, supposed to snow here today and maybe tuesday. :clapping: :clapping:

1) Sparkling white snow is nice.

2) Sparkling white snow X feet at a time is awesome.

3) Brown & black snow after the sparkling white snow has been on the ground (& frozen) for a few weeks, and won't go away kinda ruins the excitement of #1 & #2.

Along the same lines:

1) Shoveling big fuffy flakes is a nice light workout, especially when your not in a hurry ton go anywhere.

2) Shoveling heavy wet snow @ 5:30am, so you can be at work on time is less fun.

2a) Shoveling 2 feet of wet slush that the plow truck dumps in your driveway just as you finish is even less fun. :fs1:

3) Shoveling at the beginning of winter is much better than it is after 3 months of heavy snow once or twice every single week.

I can't remember tha last time it snowed in Houston but we actually got about 2 inches worth of tha crap Friday. Most of it melted by tha next day so all thats left now is a mud. While it was comming down and had everything blanketed I gotta admit it looked kinda pretty. Other than that yall can have it.

our snow came a bit late this year(usually have a few inches by Halloween) but thats been more than made up for in quantity. shoveling is a nice break from the real work, takes 4 hours to clear the properties (at work).

i laughed wen i saw huston got snow, had to shut down the city....

our plow trucks and graters don't move till we get 4 inches, thats municipal and a large part of the private companys too

i love the slipslidn. my gas milage sucks but I'm always smilen

I'm originally from Michigan so I grew up in the snow, but I'm living in North Carolina now. It snowed here once last year, maybe an inch or two, and when the "S" word is even mentioned on TV, everything gets shut down, I mean EVERYTHING! It didnt bother me one bit, and I did my usual daily routine of dropping the baby off at daycare and going to work. Well, When I showed up at the daycare (actually the ladies house) I woke them up because they thought no one would be coming. Then from there I head to work, and drive around a line of cars held up by one guy with bald tires trying to go up a slight incline, even though the MJ is 2wd I went right around them. I pulled into work right on time and was one of three people who made it to work that day. The first guy is an old timer with a little 4wd mini truck, them me in my 2wd MJ, and then shop manager in her Rubicon JK. Needless to say we didnt do much that day, I think they officially shut down at lunch time and sent us home.... which by that point in the day all the roads were now clear just from melting. I miss the snow sometimes and usually get a shot of it when I go to Michigan for xmas, but its not the same as having to live in it. Have some snow fun for me while youre at it my northern buddies, and keep the rubber side down!

I live in the sticks on 30 acres, no brown snow here. If it gets deep enough I'm the guy who blades the lane, otherwise our main DDs are 4x4 jeeps and love the white stuff. My truck is actually the sketchy winter vehicle. It will go anywhere, but feels unstable on the roads when it is slick. My new locker in the rear will take alittle getting used to as well. I can't wait to ditch my BFG Mall Terrains.

i live on a island so the ocean breeze doesnt exactly help keep the white stuff around for too long but it was snowing yesterday and it didnt stick one bit :( but on the other hand my other house in the middle of newyork got about 6-7 inches :D ... can't wait to go snowboarding or cruisn in the MJ lol

Well, my city already spent the entire snow removal budget for the winter.

I think it's because of corruption, not the snowfall, but I :dunno: They don't exactly do a very good job for the money they've burned through.

In other related snow news, I broke the plow truck at one of our hangars. Not plowing snow, just moving trailers around IN the snow. I think it's snowed every day there since I did that, so I bet they're having fun digging out without it. Of course I left the same day I broke it...

whats wrong wit tha all terains

Oh, oh, I know, I know!!! :waving: THEY SUCK AND SHOULD NEVER BE INSTALLED ON A JEEP!!! :rotf:

What if you have them on your Jeep because they were FREE? They were installed on a wrangler that got traded in and were rubbing on the lower control arms. They didnt like the noise when they let a customer test drive it, so they told me to put some stock size street tires on it, so I did, and I put the BFG A/T's on my truck. They are only 235's and they don't rub on my truck. SCORE!
