i also thought there was a little spacer but shen i took it all apart i didnt see any. but i didnt disconect the fuel rail completly but tomarrow when i redo it I'm gonna take the fuel rail off. then put the injectors in one by one into the fuel rail. -

thank you i might go that way if my injectors are bad after i change out the o rings but i havent had the truck running in about 5 years. And before i go dumping money into i wanna get it running first I'm looking for just the orings there self. -

well i went to advance got new o rings installed them and my injectors are still leaking not all of them thoguh there leaking from the orings shoul i just let it sit and maybe it will seal? -

i am also missing one of the clips that connect the fuel rail to the injector where could i get one of them or what are they called? -

well what should i do take the fuel rail off and remove them one by one change the o rings then reinstall them? should i get fuel injector cleaner or is there a way to clean them when i have them off? -
My injectors are leakingfrom the rail and manifold. What do I do to fix it it won't start?

ok thanks :thumbsup: could i use the stock gas tank use my fuel pump that dosent work and put it all back together and run the external pump?would that work?also i don't have anything but the pump and bracket it sits in no strainer or float.or can i just put a fuel filter between the gas tank and the pump

Well my fuel pump is fried oh well what would be the cheapest pump I could use so that I can get it running its been sitting for 5 years not running

i found my old pump after hours of looking i knew i had it somewhere but the strainer and fuel sender is missing and i honestly don't care how much gas i have ill just keep a gas can.but where could i get a strainer and how would i put it on.

ive found a comanche gas tank but its got surface rust on the inside how would i clean it also where could i get a pump for it? thanks for your help. :thumbsup: id just like to know everything before i go and buy the gas tank.

also could i use the fuel pump out of a 84 xj 2.8 i have laying around and seal the holes in my gas tank?

Why couldn't I just drill a hole for the return line? Just wonderimg because I already have one of these tanks laying around

fuel pump went out gas tanks rusted out gonna try an external pump and this can anybody tell me how to build it I'm confused would this even work

well its not my jeep and he just wants to replace the freze plugs can i pull the tranny to get to them? can someone explain to me how to do it? -

I'm probably just gonna pull the motor it has 274000 miles on it I'm sure i could get another at the junkyard for cheap or do yall thin i should replace the freeze plugs or swap to the 3.4l. also i have a 4.0 I'm not using will that fit? -

no sorry i don't really know much about the,m and it is leaking from inside the bell housing I'm pretty sure.amd ur saying I'm gonna have to drop the transmission to get to them?
