knever3
A lot has changed since I updated my thread. I was a noob on the whole stroker thing so I ruined two pistons so the motor came back out and got another rebuild with new parts. Now I have a lot more respect for proper fueling, I bought a Snap On MT2500 to use along with my wideband O2 monitor in the dash. Now I can see what's going on under the hood. The hesco adjustable fuel pressure regulator was bad this whole time, the check valve never worked. I have been chasing why the fuel pressure would drop to zero immediately after I shut off the truck and why it would never prime. A call to Bennie and he said to send it back and he'll rework it. I have to show some pics too. I really want larger tires and the 3" springs really didn't lift it like the rear leafs. I think I will buy new coils instead of the acos because they are so expensive. I am driving it daily now and it's working great. I also think I need a larger exhaust so in time...
knever3
Ok been a long time, just downloaded all my photobucket pictures now just need to painstakingly host them all on another site. I finally fixed my door check bracket on the driver's side. The bolts broke and I didn't want to take the door off so I bought these sharp stubby hex drill bits and started the job.I got out my trusty Milwaukee 90 degree drill driver and drilled the old bolts out.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
knever3
After three sizes I ran a 8mm/1.25 tap through the holes. I bought a nos bracket and some SS cap screws and sanded and painted them. I enlarged the holes for the new bolts and bolted it in with the old pin. My awesome project garage cat Loki looking on. That seems like a daunting task.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

knever3
Bought a remote start because I didn't like the external relays on my old one. I wanted keyless entry again plus domelight supervision. After installing 90% of it I noticed the unit I have doesn't have this option. the ebay post said it did and my remotes aren't the same as the pictures either. Waste... so now I need to buy a $29 timer relay for a $68 viper remote start!Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

knever3
Started to install new hella headlights and fog lights. First job at hand was ripping out the old Putco harness which had terrible relays. When I tore it all apart I decided to paint the headlight buckets and freshen up a few things before reinstalling. My son and daughter help me with the disassembly, and then I started wiring. I also noticed I was missing a horn on the passenger side so I need the bracket and a new horn for that site.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

My truck came with a single horn on the passenger side. Not every truck was built with dual note horns but everyone adds two horns to their trucks because the wiring is there for them. knever3
That went well, took care of a few areas along the way. The fog lights hit the grill so I hope I can aim them high enough.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

eaglescout526
Those Hella 550's were nice when I had them, same with the 450's I had, course I ran into the same issue you have with the lights being too big and hitting the grille.
knever3
They are the 450s actually, in a 550 box.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
knever3
I would like a new bumper, but I haven't found a nice-looking one without being extravagant that sticks out one foot from the truck with a winch. I definitely do not like tube bumpers.Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
