DirtyComanche
Depends... Diff covers, I like ruffstuff. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/cat ... s-c-5.html Gears, generally I buy yukon. http://www.ringpinion.com/ Brackets, tabs, rod ends, etc, either ruffstuff or polyperformance http://www.polyperformance.com/ I don't buy anything that I can make, generally. CWLONGSHOT
For gears, I like to buy DANA. Its more expensive, but can save setup time as factory offsets can be ordered for closer to your exact set up can be duplicated. Randy's ring and pinion has been my source. For almost everything else, I buy from a very good friend of mine, Lou Kiklas in Massachusetts, Elias 4WD center, 1-978-597-8432. Call him up, ask for the old man, tell him I sent you and disregard any of his stories of our high school antics...  :shake: Lou will do you right, with quick service and knowledgeable answers. Eagle
I'm looking for a site online that i can buy gears and diff covers and off road protection kinda something like motion offroad but better Since Motion Offroad seems to get excellent customer satisfaction ratings and has pretty decent prices, AND they are active on this forum ... just what do you think some other company could be doing "better"? Not trying to start a war or badmouth anyone here. I have zero doubts regarding MO's customer support, tech advice, and forum participation, all stellar, and he has helped me out several times in the past. But his prices are hardly "pretty decent"; most always 15%-25% higher than most others I contact. I have found equal if not better support from several other vendors, depending on what you need. One of the best I have used for years is Bob Supplee out in OK. Small shop, best prices and support, and can get anything. Been many years, but I bought from Bob when I first starting buying stuff for my TJ... I know they may not list of lot of MJ specific stuff, but I get everything for my TJ from Jason @ Redrock4x4.com and David @ Northridge4x4.com Both sell gears and diff covers and stuff and have both taken good care of me in the past for many things...both also offer Free Shipping on orders over $100... Darren
Northridge4x4.com is a great resource. There is a reason a lot of people hate Motion Offroad.
DirtyComanche
I don't know how economically sensible it would be for him to deal with some of the smaller shops in the states. It normally isn't for me, but I'll admit I haven't tried a lot of them. I deal a lot with Jeap Thrills (that typo is no typo, Chrysler freaked out and wanted to take them to court for trade mark infringement) in Abbotsford, or maybe it's Surry. IDR, but it's in that hell hole that I simply call Vancouver. Anyways, 'B', Bryson, is my contact there. I either call him or deal with him via www.crawlinbc.com. Actually, ANY of the vendors on crawlin would do their best to treat you right, but none of them have online stores. They are all in BC, so there is no pain with customs or foreign currency. They do normally list their products in the vendor section of the forum, but sometimes you will have to PM them for specific requests. But, crawlin is a lot more like pirate4x4, if you're going to sign up there be careful what you post. Oh yeah, www.speedwaymotors.com; they have some cool products (I ran up a couple hundred bucks the last time I looked at their site  )
mvusse
I like Summit Racing, but that's because their original (first) store is only an hour from me.

dfreeman616
I'm surprised no one has mentioned them yet, but JCR Off-Road (http://jcroffroad.com/) has a line of Comanche rear bumpers and sliders, and off course the front bumpers from their Cherokee series bolt right no as well. They make an awesome product, I had one of their first sets of Cherokee sliders (one of the prototypes) on my first Jeep. They've been growing quite a bit over the last few years. They also seem to have pretty good prices, and the guys are great to work with. They also have some steering components and some DIY parts. Awesome customer service.
