shelbyluvv Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 This is my favorite video on Youtube. The trail is called Gauntlet and is located at Morris Mountian OHV in Alabama. I have been up that trail and it is a monster. This guy makes it look easy!
BLHTAZ Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I don't know about the looking wasy part...BUT, he sure is crazy :rotf: Is he in a timed competition or something? I know there are some people that just drive like that, but it's not a real common thing to beat on your truck like that just for fun.
shelbyluvv Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Yep, it was a time comp. I think he still holds the record!
mvusse Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 1 - He is nuts. Actually, all those time comp guys are. 2 - I wonder how many axle shaft and U joints he goes through in a month.
Car RamRod Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 the 50 second mark makes me wanna cry. What a tough rig.
jtdesigns Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 the 50 second mark makes me wanna cry. What a tough rig. The camera guy sure got the "F" outa the way didnt he!!!!!!!! lol.... That scout is a beast!!!!
WahooSteeler Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 how bad do you think his @$$ and his back hurts? Damn!
oldrusty Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I have a buddy that used to wheel a 77 f250 about the same way. He just absolutely didnt care about breakage or body damage. That poor old truck used to be a local legend. That poor old ford finally had enough and has donated its drivetrain ( 390, 4spd, and dana 60's) to an 89 ranger that hes hoping to have ready to go in the spring.
pingpong Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I guess the motto there is "Gas is on the Right" I just hope he didnt have the old IH motor in there.. that things would have been toast after that run
Falder Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: "Wow that guy really does not give a @#$%" Thats all that needs to be said.
WahooSteeler Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: "Wow that guy really does not give a @#$%" LOL, it's a PINK SCOUT. Would you? Two things to point out though: 1) he made it 2) nothing broke............at least nothing that would have stopped the run :brows:
reson46 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Pretty cool, but the passenger is a moron who is going to lose their fingers, especially riding with him. :shake: Willy
WyoCherokee Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 all i can see is dollar signs fro maxle shafts and u-joints  Tough rig non the less. my highschool buddy had a scout that we beat to crap. had a 304? in it and a 3 speed bump shift in her. tough little bugger
Falder Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted this a while back on another forum and this is what I got back. Forgot to post it til now thou. "I know of him. That's an annual race. He can wire up a whole truck on a trailer in one day. THat guy is a f#%*ing genious. Very famous in the IH world. I drive my Scout like that too, but I don't have the flex in it yet."
69CamaroSS Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 that was cool. i thought it was funny how the xj in the end lookd weak.
