breaking into your vehicle (lost keys)
Falder replied to JeepcoMJ's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
I'd run me some extra wire and a momentary switch to a hidden location. -
Why? Air ratchets are only for quickly running bolts/nuts in/out. Not breaking things loose nor tightening, unless you mean you put the air ratchet on and pulled against it(like you would with proper use), which makes no sense cause you could have used a normal ratchet/breaker bar.

Posted this a while back on another forum and this is what I got back. Forgot to post it til now thou. "I know of him. That's an annual race. He can wire up a whole truck on a trailer in one day. THat guy is a f#%*ing genious. Very famous in the IH world. I drive my Scout like that too, but I don't have the flex in it yet."

hahah I love that window crank. And your interior lights work!!!! Nice deal man.
-
Have you confirmed that you are allowed to go? Cause where I'm from the public wasn't allowed to attend the auctions, only dealers. Not sure if you are a dealer (doesn't sound like it since this is your first), going with a dealer friend, or just waxed the right guys hand.

I'd call and make sure that wasn't a typo (the mileage).
-
hahahaha 4:30 of that vid. "Its really really small but you'll be surprised how much stuff you can put in there." I don't think I'd take that thing very far off-road anyways. Esp if they skip parts when they try to show its off capabilities.

Looked @ it and cringed.

Ya, why bother with replacing them when you'll end up tearing them out eventually to put some sliders there.

Traded the green one for my comanche and I still have the black one. Both 69's Back to the thread.

:dunno: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14605 They say they fixed that problem. Maybe its a list of words they have to update.
-
Couldn't you fix that with the adjustable linkage thou?
-
Why couldn't you just use the stock lever? Turn it 90* clockwise and then flip it over?
-
I wish my 69 looked that good.
-
Isn't that where he's from? Eugene, OR? Thats why I was asking.

Your son looks like a guy I know who lives in eugene....Ohwell lol.
-
That thing has got to be super rare.
-
How many sons do you have? Does one own a chevy sprint (3 cylinder turbo)? And the other a volvo?
-
Why not just get some regular vacuum hose?
-
Are those random holes that fall open above water? That'd keep me away if they were.

Fixed oil blow by but now......

I'll have to check on the mileage. -

I've already fixed the CCV problem. And I was kinda hoping it it could have been something else other than rings. -
That kinda surprises me thou. You think other current model trucks might use the same shocks. Manufacturers try and keep everything simple but I guess they didn't there.

So I had oil being pushed into my air box, cleaned out the vacuum hose to the manifold and replaced others (old/brittle so a few broke, ran the lines per my Chilton manual). Well now it seems like oil is being collected and burnt in my exhaust manifold. I can see it coming out of the flange on the bottom of the manifold. I just R&R'd my valve cover but since I'm getting so much smoke actually out of the exhaust I'm pretty sure its not just oil leaking @ the valve cover, plus I have looked and see no leaks @ the valve cover. I thought maybe the oil got there by running it the couple times I have with some of the vacuum hoses off and it would clear up when I replaced them but I can see that more is collecting. Anybody have any ideas?
