pilotblake
Installed the GM rear view mirror with the vanity lights. Probably the easiest, best thing I have done. Went two years with no interior lights, now i have floor lights rear view mirror lights, next is the led upgrade for the pillar lights.
comanche09
Scored a '98 XJ Limited Upcountry NP242 T-case, front springs (good for 1" lift) and t-case skid for $

CRF136N
The inside of my bed looked like this...original paint stripped, then 2 different colors have been applied since...which had been for the most part chipped off, so it was multicolored with lots of bare metal :ack: So today I put a wire wheel on a drill and went at it, then sanded the rest; Acetone treatment and applied a 2-part body shop grade PPG primer via HVLP spray gun (cheapo "electric" HVLP paint system I got from Harbor Freight...worked GREAT!) BTW, first time with HVLP and shop grade primer, had an absolute blast doing it...WAY better than rattle cans. After that dried I applied my "Grizzly Grip" bed liner via spray gun in bed, and roller on bed rails. (same stuff azscott painted his whole truck with; it had good reviews so I got it for my bedliner; very happy so far...) One coat, still kind of wet. 2nd and final coat in morning BTW, rolled or sprayed, this stuff is MESSY and gets everywhere!!! :ack: Good thing the boss wasn't around to see the disaster I created in the shop before I cleaned it up :rotfl2: Can't wait to see 2nd coat finished product. I also got two metal pans to mix the stuff in, so I am letting the residual from the first coat dry in the pan so I can give it the torture test and see how well it holds up to abuse  -James

dasbulliwagen
I have been working on fixing the boss's MJ. Put a new ballast resistor in it and it has never ran so good!, I also welded up the saw holes from when someone tried to steal the converter by cutting it off. Took it for a test drive and experienced the worst death wobble Ive ever seen. I will try later to balance the wheels and maybe throw a different track bar on it. It is an 88 Olympic Edition 4.0 4x4 SWB. Nice truck... just been neglected over the years by too many people having their hands in it and the boss not wanting to spend any money on it. Typical car salesman!
Pete M
Look! I actually did something to my trucks. :D New tarps! ewww... I put a larger one on the 88 so it would fully cover the bed and it even covers the cab a bit. and the 90 just looked atrocious with the pallet/tarp combo that was sitting there simply because I had to put it somewhere. freakjeep93
pete do you use those trucks at all? i hate seeing good vehicles sitting around
Pete M
I can't afford to give them what they need. money conservation is key at this point in time. But I might be bringing the 90 over to the garage pretty soon so I can at least work on the fuse panel issue.

Pete M
just don't look too closely. :D Both are missing floors and rockers. and that's the "good" side of the 90's bed.

1990 Pioneer 4x4
I've done the same thing today, as i have everyday for the past 13 days. monitored the heater sitting inside the cab, and changing it out with the fan when i go to bed at night. I'm starting to think i may need to pull out the seat, carpet, and mat to get it all dried out. :fs1: yes, just like some people have said...

I think I can remove and install the entire front end with my eyes closed now  Got about 1.5" of lift! Went from 2wd springs, to 97 XJ 4x4 springs to 98 XJ UpCountry, so I'm about 2.5" over stock for CHEAP
