Yep custom intake and open up air flow I, someone else on CC has done similiar using a speaker mesh to cover as to mine is just open. Attempted to do CAD flip but needed to jack up truck to aline 2 piece shaft for colar to slide over. Someone elses photo on CC but just to show what it looked like before I closed it up. Oh that's my clutch pedal and clutch master push rod linkage Cleaned up both brake and clutch pedal welded clutch pedal Reinstalled, just wish I could have removerd the hanger for clean up too.

Is this a good kit? <AX15 Master Rebuild Kit - Power Torque> Does it include everything I need? Also, any good how-to's or DIY tutorials that y'all know about for a first time rebuilder?

I'm interested in buying a project Comanche Jeep. I'm looking to put Dana 60 axles in it and a 4.0L stroker and fresh paint. I have big plans. I need a solid platform. To make my life easier I'd like to start off with a 4.0 engine so I have the wiring harness already and whatnot. I'd like to re-use the stock AX-15 transmission I would like it to be a short bed and if possible it can come factory with 4wd. Also no rust would be a plus. Text me at (631) 806-1839 for any leads, I'm located in Western New York. I don't mind driving within reason to pick one up.

Hey Comanche Club My Name is Breven and I am a jeepaholic. I recently acquired my 3rd Comanche(had a 1988 and a 1992 when I was 15), but I currently own three other jeeps(2004 Wrangler TJ, 1942 Ford GPW, and a 1945 Willys MB). I had been looking for a good Comanche for years when I came across this one two weeks ago. I purchased it from Roadtrip Carolinas in Greeneville,SC. I probably paid a little too much, but as far as myself and my dad can tell it has had no rust or mechanical problems, even in it's 170,000 miles on the road.It needs paint pretty bad but other wise is pristine. it is a fourwheel drive 5 speed 4.0 Pioneer in Dover Grey with a burgundy interior. It needs some paint, but is otherwise solid. I intend to change the wheels from the wrangler wheels that are on it as they tend to rub on turns. I'd like to find some wheels like were on my 1992 Comanche. I intend to rhino line the bed and undersides of the truck as money becomes available. I will most likely POR 15 the cab floor and frame. Not sure how extreme I will get into modifying this truck yet, as part of me wants to restomod it.

Hey guys I really need a manual 5 speed tranny quick and if anyone else has the small triangular vent windows with the locks lmk. Willing to pay good for both items. I'm located in central Florida but don't mind driving to wherever the parts are even if it means heading up a couple states.
