  1. That's not good. We've sold Jasper for years and only had one problem trans. They stand behind their products, and warranty parts and labor to the shop
  2. Same ones I had. Up top is some ProComp lights then on the bumper is a cheap set of Baja Blazers. Might swap them out for Hella 500s at some point.
  3. Bonus if you get a mirror with map lights.
  4. That's looking real good
  5. Right. Stock fenders, flares and all
  6. Welp, I went and did it. Always wanted an ARB.
  7. Maybe try just pinching a heater hose and driving it to make sure that the cab doesn't get hot. My 89 has no heater control valve and it blows plenty cold. Also, just making sure you're looking at the correct door. Does it have a cable actuating it for sure? Is it possible you're looking at the air inlet door under the blower motor? That is moved by a vacuum actuator?
  8. The control head I was referring to is the AC control panel. It has a vacuum source line from the vacuum canister under the hood, and in the Max A/C setting, send vacuum back out to the heater control valve. If your different modes work (defrost/vent/floor) then you have vacuum to the control head.
  9. A week? I'm doing good to see an MJ on the road once every few years.
  10. And as far as the heater control valve, any control head that provides a vacuum on MAX AC will work to control it.
  11. If your heater door isn't broken, the foam seal must be gone, my Comanche on 100+ degree high humidity days cools just fine with no heater valve. Matter of fact, the heater valve is only active in the Max A/C setting. On full cold, there should be no airflow across the heater core.
  12. Just make sure it's rotating in the correct direction
  13. Yeah, I'm glad I didn't try to fab these brackets. A bit beyond my pay grade. Ordered the turn signals for the bumper from eBay UK. Opened the bracket kit and it came with new ones. Oh well. Got my Dirtbound stuff also.
  14. Sounds like you have a blend door problem
  15. Under the Renix relay cover by the right fender. You can use a Snapon scanner with the proper adapter also
  16. The D50 is just a rebadge Mitsubishi Mighty Max. I had an 89 2.0, AT with the optional AC and PS. It was slooowww. Like lose off the line to a post office truck slow. I highly, highly doubt there's any interchangeability.
  17. Also on order are the ARB brackets, Dirtbound bumper tie ins and battery hold down bracket
  18. Yep, binder clips are a life saver for belts. If there's more room around the crank, these work excellent.
  19. Beautiful! MJs just look so good in blue (I'm biased)
  20. Ahem. Waiting on brackets. $230 of brackets. Ouch.
  21. Martinez is close to me. Fun story! Interested in seeing your continuing progress and adventures
  22. Someone on here swapped in a SC 3800 years ago. If I remember right, he had trouble getting a transmission to hold up behind it. The other problem is that the engine was designed for traverse mounting, so the intake plumbing goes to the rear of the supercharger, and he had to cut the firewall to run the intake piping. I thought long and hard about that swap.
  23. Sweet. Glad it could find it's way to someone who will use it!
