I don't know why the front photo didn't load.

Saw this truck today while out grocery shopping in Orangeburg, SC. It's an 86 X, 2.8, column shift auto, 4wd. Really clean. Talked to the owner, he said his dad bought the truck new in Tennessee and it has just 55k miles. Said he's approached quite often by people trying to buy it. A few things I noticed, the Comanche Four Wheeler of the Year sticker in the rear window, the drop in bedliner that says Jeep instead of Comanche, chrome door handles. I quite like this truck. Very sharp with the two tone and pin stripes.
  3. Happy Thanksgiving y'all. Here's a pic of my sweet potatoes, twice smoked, with maple sriracha candied bacon, pecans and maple cinnamon butter.
  4. I've heard good things about it. I can't speak for it personally, but I do have the Boostwerks 231 HD linkage and it is a quality setup and cheaper. http://www.boostwerksengineering.com/231-HD-Shift-Linkage-Auto-Trans-V20_p_25.html

    COVID Chances

I don't like wearing masks, but out of respect, I will. But the governor of PA just mandated wearing masks in your own house if there's anyone there that doesn't live with you. Inside your own house, that's too far.
  6. I've got the Autopal housings, but I'd probably go Hella if I did it over again. I like the E-code housings and I'm running Hella 100/80w H4s. Definitely make a relay harness for them.
  7. Where'd you get the window seals?
  8. New AC blower motor last night, it's amazing how much quieter it runs.
  9. Installed new front door speakers since my LF didn't work. Ended up not fixing anything, so I tracked the problem down to bad terminal pin fit at the head unit connector. I found a new connector to install.
  10. Probably this one, for now.
  11. You're right, I checked the AT vs the AT3 in a comparable size. 12.5/32" for the Walmart AT, 16/32" for the AT3.
  12. I like that blue! Very nice truck.
  13. 89 MJ Pioneer, 2wd 4.0, AW4 Faded paint, just a few pinholes of rust in floorpan. Relative suspected blown head gasket, so sold it to me for $300 in 2016.
  14. I forgot to tell y'all the best part. So GM delivers the hose assembly in a box. A box that's not 12 feet long. Open it up, yep, they cut it in half to ship it. Call them up and they said, oh you don't have the connector kit? Apparently, they cut it in half to save on shipping costs, then you have to buy a $1000 special crimp connector tool and special anaerobic sealant to rejoin the piping. Ridiculous.
  15. Yep, can't wait to finish it, get it painted or powder coated, and some lights on it.
  16. I do see that it has power locks and windows. I won't deny it looked like a nice truck back in the day.
  17. Well, it's worth LESS with pics anyways. The old photo looks kinda cool, current shape is sad.
  18. Well, what do we have here?
  19. Congrats! That's a lot of work, and a good looking truck. There's just something about a blue MJ
  20. Seems pretty simple. Have a checkpoint that denies entry to any Jeep that shares an engine with a minivan.
  21. Check out this jewel.
  22. I've got a little surprise project being worked on tomorrow. I'll post pics when it happens. A little grinder action is about to go down.
  23. Are we talking paint stripped or parts stripped?
  24. Simple fixes are always the best! Glad you got it figured out.
  25. I would recommend a new thermostat as well. I had problems with a Start thermostat until I went with a Mopar one.
