A 2" XJ shackle will lift the rear of an MJ 1-1.5" ;)

approx 3.5" Lift on 31" Treadwrights. It works for me :D

sorry if this is a hijack, but would anyone be intrested in making this truck... Up in this paint scheme, don't bother with the decals at all, just do it up red with that blue stripe around it. :brows: Thanks! :D

The Bed mounted Spare tire mount is the last thing on my list of small projects for alittle, so i decided to tackle it tonight :wrench: Started with an OEM YJ spare tire mount and an adapter purchased off of the innernets A quick shot of paint and were ready to go! A few holes drilled and began to get it in place All done! and completed with my ugly butt spare tire.....Another D window wheel and 31" Spare will be aquired in the near future. Frees up some room underneath and with the tools up along side of it, I'm liking the "expedition vehicle" type look :cheers:

Fabbed up some mounts for the other bar and mounted up another tool for my expeditions :D A simple hole in two exhaust clamps alittle paint two more bolts inserted up through and mounted to the bar and Ta Da.....a custom roll bar mount The bed mounted spare tire carrier is next :wrench:

I was under the impression that the 2.1 Diesels were only availabe in 86 models? :???:

I found those on Ebay a few years ago. Havent been able to find anymore since then... idk if you could make YJ 1s fit since the mounting system is a bit different, but its always worth a try... Will get another tool mounted on the roll bar tonight, stay tuned :wrench:

Got a few cool things. Overall ive just had fun hanging with family and getting to relax :cheers: Cool Shirt i found online that i gave myself, my sister gave me a box of nothing but 80s Candy, and got a shop Vac from my parents for the garage :D . Also got a few tools for the truck, a coin sorter and probably the biggest thing of all... The Deed and a soil sample to my very own Acre of land here on our hill :eek: , I hope to build a house on it someday and be able to call it home :D Ive had a great Christmas, Hope you all have too! :cheers:

Alright well its not really MJ related but I toyed around with some XJ Tail lights today. :wrench: Factory 96 XJ Tail lights... Now with Wagoneer XJ Tail lamps :D Lovin the 80s Look with the rear spoiler to boot! :clapping:

No, I believe that was only available on the 85-86 Wagoneer XJ (IIRC). This is just a Renix Cherokee with a different front clip and wood graining ;)

The tranny slips bad, the P/O ran it very low on fluid for many miles and the Engine isnt the healthiest anymore. The interior is pretty ratty but most of it should be clanable and sellable if need be. The body is in great shape though. If it was just mine Id consider making it road worthy again but since i have 2 hungry friends that chompin at parts off of it and helped on the purchase, Its destined for donorville.

Have Silverstars in my XJ and 88 MJ......plenty happy with the output :wrench: :thumbsup:

Not directly MJ related, but brought home a new Parts donor. 88 XJ Wagoneer, 4.0/AW4/242/D30/D35... Went 3rds with two friends and myself on the price and we'll have some fun tearing her apart for our own projects :wrench: :D

Wow some of you guys are harsh... weve all been there before, maybe not in quite as bad of a situation but we all have done sumb things. I'm glad he has been taking our advice and after his excusion I'm sure he'll know that much more about his MJ and knowing what he should and shouldn't do with it ;) Keep after it man, after all wrenching on your Comanche is half the fun :wrench: :cheers:

Mounted up my Hi Lift Jack, got 2 oil changes and 1 tire rotation done as well. Good Night in my garage :D

Bought a Christmas present for my MJ and got it all setup :wrench: Gonna mount the spare in the bed between the bars yet as well as another tool or so in the coming weeks. With myself cutting back on Racing I hope to get some good wheelin in next year :cheers: The garage was rockin tonight More to come! :popcorn:
