  1. I think 1-1.5" of Rake on an XJ looks fine....JMO :dunno:
  2. I liked the Chrysler group commercial at halftime. The Chevrolet "appocolypse" and The M&Ms were funny as well and the "dream" commercial for Kia was pretty good I thought.
  3. Sweet! Ill definently be keeping tabs on this 1! :clapping:
  4. 92+ WITH ABS all had 297x U joints. and I believe 95 was the 1st year they included the larger shafts on all XJs ;)
  5. Ill tell ya 1 thing, this "spring like" weather has my allergies kickin my butt real early this year :wall:
  6. :agree: the ZJ coils should net you between .75" and 1.5" of lift. How was the rear lifted?
  7. me too! its currently 50 degrees and sunny here in northeastern ohio. Josh Me three! Theres plenty of time for this warm weather later in the year! ;)
  8. Ramen Noodles  I probably have "fast food" 2-3 times a week, or else just leftovers, but i have the advantage of coming home for lunch ;)
  9. I love the idea. The biggest thing I noticed I would change is the color of the description in the beginnning of the videos, the dark grey on black is kinda hard to read (i do have 20/20 vision but am on an old school style moniter).... Otherwise The idea is great and I do hope it takes off!
  10. I picked myself up a Tire/Wheel combo over the weekend and got it mounted up in my spare posistion this evening. Much better
  11. What? They add horsepower and offroad performance when you give mobile shout outs to your "sponsors". :dunno: By my count, I see at least an additional 45 horse. :agree:  :rotf:
  12. Yeah i believe that was taken from a scene in the Incredible Hulk... :dunno:
  13. ;)
  14. NICE! do these interchange with the one from a 1982 Delorion?
  15. Well The old OEM bumper on this truck had seen a hard life so I figured id help Dad out by fixing him up with a solution ;) Since I had upgraded the bumper on my 88, I had my FEY bumper just laying around, still in great usable shape so i figured my dad would appreciate it. Much better, and he can acctually tow his small trailer and wood splitter around with this 1  I also took a few minutes and installed his Vent Visors, still sitting around from the summer :D Nice night in the garage......Ill keep ya posted
  16. Hey guys, I finally made it up to my Uncles tonight to check in on what Rob (Automan) dubbed The Unicorn before the sale. Greg has been putting some good work into it since his purchase. Currently the project going on is redoing all the rear brake lines. He has purchased a set of 30x9.50 tires on some fancy but not overkill wheels (IMO) here's a few pictures ive snapped, He has a new set of Doors to go on it and will likely convert them to power as well. Hes hard at it with a few buds and I estimate itll be road worthey sometime in late summer if i had to guess ;) Figured Rob and you guys could use and update, and the peice of mind that its not sunk up to its axles in a mud hold somewhere :rotfl2:
  17. Na, its just a cheap plastic bracket and i attached the light to it. I may incorperate a YJ plate mount that does fold away to it sometime though ;)
  18. here's a few shots after bringing it up to the house.....I'm very happy with Bens work and i know this will only help me off the pavement Have alittle welding work to do on the exhaust yet but for now I think I'm caught up with my little projects.......emphasis on "for now" ;)
  19. Ill snap some good pictures with my actual camera tomorrow, The cell phone photos just don't do some details justice. ;)
  20. "Yeah you wish you were driving this" :rotfl2:
  21. Well today was the big day. I recieved my bumper from Ben (Nehoic) on Thursday and have been more than ready to throw that sucker on! The signiture craftsmanship sign. I was greeted with :D The OEM nutserts were giving us fits and without cutting the bedsides 1st there was no way for us to get a drill up in there to enlarge em....So out came the welder for the 1st time today, I see no reason the brackets would ever need to be removed so I had no trouble asking for alittle more strength ;) Got the bumper mocked up... Next up was cutting the quarter panels to allow room for the side protection. Side protection being welded in place Welding all done! and 1st coat of paint applied I did drill out the mounting holes needed and final assembly was in full force! And here she is, ill be sure to take more more detailed pictures with my good camera here in the next few days, I'm letting it spend another night in the garage to allow the paint to stay outta the fridged temps for the night. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality of the bumper, I'm anxious to see the advantages it gives me off road and greatly enjoy the look over my FEY that occupied this truck since its purchase. :wrench:
  22. a 3" XJ AAL will net you around 1.5-2" of lift in your MJ as well ;)
  23. G2 FTW
  24. "Made in MN" with a classic signiture. Ill have to remember to Snap a picture of that before paint for sure!
