That defiantly looks good!.....Ive actually never disassembled a tailgate off of any of the trucks yet so i have no idea what id be getting into.

Recheck all your vacuum lines (ie. MAP sensor) and TPS, IAC Plugs. You did remember to take the caps off of the injectors prior to installing in the manifold didnt ya?....lol just checking

Alright guys, has anyone came up with a replacement part to use for the MJ tailgate handles. I have 2 perfectly fine tailgates now that have broken handles. I'm sure I'm not the 1st to have this issue so I figured id post up. Thanks!

All 2wd trucks sat at the same height and all 4wd trucks sat at the same height.....2wd trucks are known to sit about 1" lower than 4wd models.

Check the positive and ground connections at the battery 1st.......sounds like something just isnt making good contact ;)

I bought that Truck pretty much just like that. The Hood and roof was badly weather just like yours. I however did restore it, and it became what I now call "Walker" :) The entire buildup of that truck can be found by clicking the link in my signature, as well as my other 3 MJs if your interested ;)
