  1. Yep, I'll agree with this.
  2. Got the cab off of the Dodge today, now I have a drive train and chassis open and ready for some attention in the coming weeks.
  3. 8 years is more than a lifespan of todays starters, I'm more than confident to bet that's what it is.
  4. Its the biggest thing ive ever attempted for sure but with no deadline its a great learning experience and will be something totally unique when its finished. The other jeeps I own plus some friends, help break up the work so I'm less likely to get burned out over such a big project as well. Thanks for the compliments btw!
  5. The new interior color flows together nicely, soundproofing should help out a lot as well keeping that Cummins rattle outside the cab.
  6. That's awful but so funny!!!
  7. i need a trip to Rausch Creek again for a day after reading this.....Good Stuff
  8. Awesome! Great job
  9. Tearing into the Dodge. Once the cab and bed are out of the way its time to have some fun with the drivetrain and frame......goal is to have the J20 cab set on the frame by Winter.
  10. I suppose you could do a type of pin latch setup and rubber bushings.... Idk if there's really an easy way about it.
  11. Man can I relate to this feedback. Lol....anyway the truck looks great and its another mj that lives on in a new life of glory, the classic look is nice but the current truck is very nice as well. Good job and enjoy the ownership of something so awesome that will never be reproduced again.
  12. I need to check in here more often.....that's a beautiful truck!
  13. He already has a HP d30 and an HO 4.0 with the truck, if you want the front clip and don't need the engine I'd go with the 01.
  14. Double post.....dumb phone. Lol
  15. Fresh rubber and an alignment are on the schedule for this fella Monday..... New pics to follow
  16. Hahahaha that's great
  17. Did alittle patching up a month or so ago on the unibody. Otherwise this fella has been holding up and going strong. 10+ years under my ownership
  18. Well 194k and still going strong. Replaced the Exhaust manifold over the past 2 days, which really wasnt too bad of a job. the old 1 had all but seperated itself from the back 2 cylinder ports. lol. Back on the road and much quieter!
  19. I have the same one but my latch needs replaced and it does leak in the car wash . lol
  20. If your not going with automotive style quality than I'll reccommend brush and rolling on paint over spray cans anyday. Looks just as rugged and is 3 times as durable.
  21. Yeah I was confused as well. Lol
  22. Glad to see this spark up again.
  23. Yeah, they'd waste a lot of paper sending those offers to my family....lol
