What engine is in front of the trans? What year truck? Is it 2wd or 4wd? These all matter when it comes to buying a transmission.

Burgundy was high on my list of choices. I think any color would look good in there except blue, lol

Are you talking about the front cowl of the truck between the fenders and the center plactic filler? If you are you can't buy those. They are part of the cab. You will need to get them used from a member is the rust free states.

I hate black wheels. I ran black "rock crawler" wheels on my XJ because they were $26 a pop before they got trendy. Now everyone and their cousin runs them because they look hardcore or want to be "murdered out". I have not ran black wheels in 10 years and will never go back to them. It is your rig and you can do what you want with it but it will look stupid to me. Very few MJs can pull off black wheels and look good. No stock wheel painted black looks good BTW.

I think Pat is correct. The battery has enough juice to start it but not fire up the BCM, TCM and PCM all at once. Try hooking up jumpers to another vehicle and report back.

My donor ZJ had a D35 behind the 5.2 V8. The early years were screwy with the ZJ.

They are totally different.

The rear is D35. If it is running and you want a bastard of a project read through my Black Betty thread and swap the entire drive train and build a engine harness. You will need a custom radiator, driveshafts, transfer linkage and a ton of other parts to make it all play nice.

Sounds like "sudden optima death syndrome" to me. There is a reason why I quit using them. I had 5 different optimas do that to me in less than two years. Glad you got it figured out Pete.

Look at the front bumper caps then look at the side trim and rear bumper caps. The front end has had some work done. Buyer beware. Look at the front end really close if you decide to pull the trigger on it. The unfaded front caps and the missing trim is a red flag to me.

I have a gray dash top, burgundy knee board, black carpet and a burgundy bench. The black dash was beyond repair and got tossed.

Once a color is a clear winner I will start finding all the parts to do my interior.

Only other things I can think of would be, A relay going bad fuel pump going bad

You need another L Truck, lol. The other two are beautiful so why not get a third? I had a B&M on my truck at one time with a Direct Connection long tube header. I had to use a Weber carb to get the air/fuel ratio right. If you can get the blower for less than $1000 you are getting a good deal!

I used UShip to ship my camper from California to Georgia. Be careful with some of the shippers. They will not show up on time or if at all. Make sure you read their feed back. You are looking at $800-$1200 depending on if it runs, lifted and height. Please Pete read their feed back. I was burned twice and almost had to leave my camper in California because they were not showing up.
