  2. block off plate? for the disco?
  3. Was getting ready to try that next... Just the 3 bolts for the Hub, right OK, here is maybe a dumb question... does the Big 36 MM Nut need to come off before the Rotor comes off, or just the Hub? Maybe that's my problem... no the nut just holds the axle shaft to the hub and sets the proper tension on the unibearing , and yes its just the 3 bolts .
  4. Just leave the rotor atached to the hub and unbolt the hub from the knuckle and take axle , hub and rotor all out together
  5. well this is the best i can do right now , the first clip the truck was cold and the second the trucks carb was unhappy with me  The vids don't do it much justice but its better than nothing and my camera is garbage , but o well

  9. This is what i did and i love it , i don't know if i lost any power (its been a long timesince i did this) but i don't care , its loud and scares old people :brows: 2 chamber flow with a 4" turn down and yes i cut a 4" hole in the muffler to match
  10. Yup it that easy , the only thing u want to make sure and do is clean the axel tubes as best as u can because the diff fluid will now be travling all the way down the tube and will not be contained in the diff its self so any crud left behind will eventualy make its way to the diff.( only on the long side but clean both as well )
  11. when i installed my trail master 4" lift the instructions said to re drill the trackbar hole on the axel 3/4 inch over to compensate and i didnt have any trouble

  16. Hell ya thats a good deal as long as it aint bent and everything looks on the up and up
  17. i for got to mention that this was also a possible option . I found this site a couple of years ago and they have alot of stuf for the 60 V6 http://www.engine-parts.com/GMV6/gmv6custom.html 1)a 3.1 stroker kit $500 and build 1 of my spare engins 2)a 3.1 stroker short block $1100 purchas a cam and gaskets and put my curent heads on it, but still alot of money (curent heads are rebuilt largevalve heads) 3) 3.4 short block $1200 in the end it is still reaching the near cost of the GM HT 3.4
  18. ok i got an 86 2.8 beast  and though it runs prity good i know the bottom of the motor isnt in that great of shap and the way i drive , it aint gona last long. i need to up grade wile i got the money and would like to do the 3.4 swap because it is a direct swap and i can do it relitivly quick but what I'm having trouble with is locating a sutible replacement. I was orignaly gona get the gm HT 3.4 factory replacement but that is gona run me close to 2 grand which almost blows my entire budget (budget is $2300)and I'm not big on the getting the a J-yard motor of un known orgin but it looks like that is what I'm gona half to do. so where is the best place to get a good engin from ????? o and i don't want to blow the budget on the engine because i got to fix a bunch of other stuf thanks mason

    oh deer?

About 5 or 6 years ago i was in montana working on my familys cattle ranch for the summer and me and my cousin were coming back from turning hay (he was following me) . i was driving an 80s S10 4x4 pickup through a twisty section and just after the road straitened out a big bear come running out in front of me and i probably missed it by 50-60 feet (i was doing 60-65), as i was turned around in the seat looking back i thought ok enuf looking turn around and pay attention , 2 seconds after i turned around a bear cub shot out in front of me and i drilled it . the truck shot in the air and i swear the tires came off the ground and as i was looking in the rearview the cub was kartwheeling acros the ground and looked like the driver of a speedboat that just fliped over. as i threw it in revers to go do something .... i don't know what i was gona do , the dam thing jumped up and took off in the woods . and the crazy thing is that it bearly left a dent in the truck. that was intense
  21. Not safe. i wouldnt realy say its unsafe as long as the right safty precuations were made , some times u gota do things like that in order to find/fix a problem. its either that or start throwing parts at it and hope u get it fixed

  24. Ya i hate to agree , iv always wanted to paint mine od green with the star and lettering and all that but more and more people are doing it but one day ill muster up and get it done . right now I'm leaning towards desert camo but we will see. the ride is looking schweet keep it up Yep! Only 8 cans so far, and it looks like a good, even coating. We'll see how it wears, touch ups will be easy, lol. The flat tan/desert look would be cool too I think. :USAflag: my next offroad MJ will be flat tan with either tan or black interior. it's a good choice I think. ya my truck is tan and i realy like the look , thats why iv not goten around to painting it but its starting to show some rust in spots so its either paint it camo something or original and i aint got the money to do a real paint job
  25. and i thought i was procrastinating :shake: j/k
