and now for the new jeep in my life. i was kinda joking about the better gas mileage. 190 miles and a 1/2 tank isn't great but its better than the xj its a 2004 SE. 2.5 5 spd. its a super deluxe base model. i don't think it has a single option on it. no radio, no a/c, no back seat. NOTHING!!! but i love it so much. i drove to akron ohio to pick it up this morning. 6 hours of driving and 25 bucks in gas for a nice jeep like this with only 24k on the ticker. :cheers:

this is my old xj, the one i was working one, 6.5'' lift etc. 33's all kinds of junk and money into it. i just sold it because i need something with better gas mileage and more highway friendly 8) i really kind of miss it now that its gone

congrats man :cheers: but you will miss high school. i wish i was still in school, it was like a party everyday. now i work 55-60 hours a week and am getting married soon, life moves too fast.

mine would dothat. i would not try to start, but the radio would work etc. the neutral/park safety switch was the culprit. i would shift the jeep into drive and back to park then it woulkd start fine. only happended a couple times.

the guys we have that do windsheilds at work have a battery power reciproacting saw with a large round tiped blade thing. its pretty sweet to watch them remove windshields with it, they hardly ever break them to which is remarkable to me

a skinny tire will do better in snow and stuff. i also like the look of skinny tires. i have 6.5'' rustys spring on my xj and i stuff my 33x10.5 a/t's very nice front and rear. with more fender trimming i could do 35's.

your are supposed to retorque all fasteners after the intial lift install after about 100 miles of driving, than re check them every 1000 or so.

one of my friends brews his own beer every now and then, i never drank it but everyone that has said it tastes good, but they said don't drink the last bit of the bottle otherwise it tastes skunky due to it settleing or something.

i am getting an 03-04 tj as soon as my jeep sells. you can find them all day on autotrader for 12-13k with under 25000 miles. 8)

i have rough countrys right now. they ride fine to me. but i just got a set of rustys for free so i am gonna be running them soon

if offroad then yes. if not i like the look without it.

i would personally just have it hot all the time. i like being able to charge my phone all the time when the car is off.

rustys also offers a stiffer spring pack too i belive that at 180pounds

i will work on pics soon, i got the rear end torn apart putting new pinion angle shims and u bolts in the rear. should have pics on wed.

i got another little project going now. one of the degree shims in the rear decided to take a poop and fall out on me, so i had to install my new rubicon express shims. and new center pins. everything came apart real easy. i was planning on reusing the u bolts, but when i got the one side off and i inspected them i figured i might as well get some new ones. so tomorrow i am getting those new ubolts and installing my new shock in the rear at least. i also tried out my harbore freight airbody saw. it is freakin awesome. it cuts thorugh sheetmetal faster than a woodchuck on crack. i just trimmed the rear wheel well a tiny bit where the tires would hit the lip. but i do recommend getting extra blades they can bend quite easy.
