  1. 3300 lbs or so for my long bed, so you're about right.
  2. ehh i don't really care for it, although it looks like it was done well.
  3. glad you made it over, and :wrench: by the way, you ever check out joe's auto parts in spring lake? last time i was over there they had a few comanches out back.
  4. without significant changes, it won't run...the fuel induction system won't be right and the programing for the air/fuel mix will be off.
  5. so does that comanche have anything good left on it, besides the slider window which looks aftermarket? how's the tailgate and bed? bed doesn't look too bad, aside from some dents, is there a hole in the middle of that tailgate? is that the only MJ there? did you check what rear axle it has?
  6. truck has belonged to me for awhile now.
  7. terraflex for $400, less if you want to get the parts form a zj or crown vic.
  8. with replacing the fuel injector o-rings, it's possible you had a vacuum leak at the intake, which would kill your MPG's pretty quick.
  9. or possibly timing... shoot a little oil down in each cylinder and repeat the compression test. if the numbers come up, piston rings = rebuild time, so how much do you want to upgrade :brows:
  10. belding? i may have plans for my next day off now...
  11. that's my truck i wish.
  12. the trans behind the 4.0 isn't the aw4 so it doesn't swap directly.

  15. i physically :ack: -ed, but if it really has no rust...
  16. pull straight up on the T, or tap from below with a hammer. they can be pretty stiff.
  17. late model xj 2 door body grafted in to make extended cab comanche, cummins 4bt motor :jump:

  19. i mostly like the m677's since i'm married, with a 2 year old, and another coming...so a crew cab truck is a good idea.
  20. hmm that's a very nice amber color there...i'll have to look for some now!
  21. if you're still looking, i have all of those parts sitting around.
  22. Another one on the same site restored in military style, notice the cameo in the background...
  23. No, this isn't some tease about the Gladiator, I'm talking about the old M677 Forward Control made for the military. I want one.                            More about that one http://www.thefcconnection.com/jesse_ybarra_1964_m-6771.htm
