  13. Wear a pair of thick gloves, or at least one, and heat only the glass until the class almost falls off by it self. Only heat the glass. The glove is so you can hold the hot glass as it comes loose. I tried pulling on the glass to help get it loose in 2 cases and both times the glass broke. Finally on the 3rd one with lots of heat it pealed off without having to really pull on it. Just be patient and heat it all over evenly. To replace just warm up the glue and press the glass on.

  18. The sorry part of this fighting is that the jorurnalists and other organizations are imbedded with our troops for the purpose of gleaning the information they want to protray the battles for their political interests. This is a giant hinderance as they openly divulge every aspect of the operational methods that are used or are in the planning to be employed against the enemy. And they do it with no regard for the lifes of our men. If they know when and where your going to be it assists the terrorists in planting bombs and booby traps. If you recall a short while back the media mainly only reported on the bad things happening as it was fodder for the anti-war advocates. It has seemed to slow since the political tables have turned some-what on the medias agendas. Anyways, we will never win a war again if we maintain an attitude that war must be fought without harming anyone, or destroying their economy, or causing daily hardships on the general populace. Thats axactly why we didn't win the Vietnam war and never would have. We got out because we didn't have a choice. Same with Iraq and the Somalia fiasco. The days of "Step across that line and your dead" are gone. I was in Nam, but, if I had it to do over I'd likely tell them now to stick it if they weren't going to go all out to end it fast and hard and raze the whole damn country doin it. m2c
  19. Or just buy yellow bulbs. Just type "Yellow fog light bulbs" in your search window.
  20. Use Teamcherokee now & then. Never had a problem and their response has always been fast.
  21. 55w with amber lenses. The amber reflects less feed-back glare off the fog than a clear lens. Thats been my experience any hows. Much like wearing yellow lens glasses for night driving.
  22. Here a pic of my heavy vinly seat I had reupholstered for approx 150. The seat looks off color because of the light but it matches the dash & door vinyl perfectly. Had a local fellow do it in his home garage. Been a year and a half with no problems.

  24. If you want it for a Cherokee or Comanche try "teamcherokee.com", or JC Whitney.
  25. I just recently changed from a 231 to 242. 242's (87 - 90) as far as I know only use elec grounding sw at TC for light at dash. No the Vaccumn sw on trf case won't work as the shank on it is not long enuf to reach the shift shaft dimples which operate sw. Use the long shank elec sw with 2 wires on it. Mine plugged into existing wiring installed at factory but tucked away at side of AW4. I just cut the tie strap unwound the wire & plugged it in. This lit up the light for part-time when in Hi or Low. Did nothing for full-time, but I may not have a bulb in that hole. Gonna check it out one of these days.
