  1. Saw this beaut while driving through town a few weeks ago, just havent gotten to post it up until now. The owner gave a list of everything on it.
  2. I thought the Laredo package came with PW and PL. :hmm:
  3. That would be awesome man, shipping is not a problem and if you don't want any of your a/c lines i would be happy to take the rest of them off your hands :D, if they are in decent condition. P.S. I don't mind if its rusted, i found that a few min with a stiff wire wheel cleans them up nicely. It just can't have any holes. :dunce:
  4. Yes its a Renix, 89. The real bending end goes to the condesor, the other goes to the compressor.
  5. ;) for sure, but every once in a while they will get a good one. My favorite is the "stump the chumps" segment.
  6. I think 800 would be fair, but he doesnt list mileage, the body is in pretty rough shape and i know you have bought similar MJs for far less. So i guess my estimate would be for if it was for sale in my area. :dunno:
  7. There should be two wires for the horns. One on the driver and passenger side, both will be grey. Green wire with a white stripe, :dunno:
  8. I was able to salvage all but one of mine and they want 70 bucks for a new one and there a B*tch to remove at the JY. Figured if anybody's a/c didnt work and was not planning on fixing it i sure could use your a/c line(s). Its the big one that goes from the condser to the compressor. I can put up a picture if need be. Thanks, ftpiercecracker
  9. make sure the tabs that hold the fuse arent loose. Also, and this might actually be the problem, there is the all important ground under the dash you will want to check as well. Sitting in the seat normally it should be just above your left knee. You will have to remove the knee board to get to it. Image Not Found 5/16 screw holds it on
  10. Are you using existing wires? or did you have to run all your own wires? If the latter is the case where are you getting power from?
  11. IDK, but thats awesome to know i'm not the only one who listens to car talk. :D I've been listening to them for the last 10 years.
  12. Try truning the dimmer switch knob. Does your clock brighten? or if its 4wd does your selector plate light up?
  13. How is that tractor paint working out? I have used it myself for smaller projects like inner fender wells and floor boards, but never considered doing the whole truck. How bad is the orange peel? Did you primer at all? or wet sand anything?
  14. :agree: , but some people just prefer a carb, simple cheap, and reliable. That being said i would not do it to mine given the choice. ;)
  15. Name him dammit. So every time he won't listen you can say " Come here DAMMIT!!" :D
  16. That SUCKS! I have a place in PSL, and for 800 bucks i wouldnt hesitate to go and at least take a look. Only problem is i don't live there. I'm stuck here in TN. :fs1: Oh and for those who are concered about it being carbed, don't be, LOTS of people do this, even more so when stroking. Need more fuel? slap on a bigger carb, turn a screw and your golden.
  17. Um, no, a 4.2 crank with 4.2 connecting rods will net you a minimum of .5 more liters. If you want more than that, than you can get the head ported, polished, block bored .060 over and/or if you have REALLY deep pockets get your 4.2 crank offset ground. It is possible to to turn a 4.0l into a 5.0, but that is $money$. The typical jeep stroker is around 4.5 4.6 liters. Just as an FYI, my stroker would have cost me $2,400 total, out the door, running in my truck, no short cuts, machine, parts, doodads, everthing. I was $300 short and the rest is history. . . I will admit i know nothing about the mini stroker stuff, but i would like to think i know a thing or two about the bigger stroker. if you want to know the facts about strokers these two sites have more information than you will ever need. http://jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/
  18. Just an FYI, it’s been a while and I have long since installed and torture tested my renovated E-brake pedal. I am happy to report that it works extremely well. Holds securely, releases easily, and does not slip one iota. :wrench:
  19. Why would you do a 4.2 instead of a 4.6? If i remember right a 232 crank is needed for the "mini" stroker. I know a 258 crank is what makes the big boy stroker. :brows: If your gonna do it why not go all the way? Get you a 258 crank and rods and run some new 4.0 pistons. Done. Not really but that covers the mechancial essentials.
  20. Holy Sh*t, do you see how many switches are on the dash?? Love the long horns up top too. :D
  21. Meh, if your gonna go through all the trouble and work it takes to make an extended cab i think you would be kicking your self really hard for not going ahead and making it a 4 dr later down the road. IMHO
