PI=Philippine Islands. Mostly Navy, Marine, and Air Force presence there, but I bet Don would know where the few small Army installations there were located.

If your search turns up a name give facebook a try, I am amazed at all the Subic Bay folks that are turning up on there.

You were about seven years after my time there, but as I recall not a whole bunch of CWO's stationed there. There are growing numbers of Subic Bay folks on Facebook, if you remember the name of the fellow I bet someone might know something.

"Hidden Winch'' Bumper
jeepdoggydogB replied to MJ is dead's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The factory hidden winch was on my short list to buy a year before I even found my Comanche. I kept coming accross threads like this one all over but was always a day late and a dollar short. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... dden+winch Someone on that thread mentioned that the "detoursusa" would be the closest thing to a hidden winch one could find today. -
I like it but the son doesn't care for it. I guess it's the generation gap at play here. I told him he had to leave it because it would leave holes that would leak if we took it off. Aw, what do kids know. Most of them are clones concerned with image only. If Dad be paying the bills, my kids better like it or they be walking the shoe leather express. :fs1: My daughter at UAH is driving a 07 Mustang. I hate all Mustangs built after 1966. It's not terribly difficult to see old Dad isn't getting his way around here. :( So she got the 2007 pony and you got poor old Gus the Dog. Don I figure you got the better end of the deal, he has some mean avatar skillz. :rotfl2:

I have used Walker products for a long time for OEM sound, and they are usually cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

Some is already changed out (new) as is the filter. I'm wondering if the fact that the tank is open to the air is causing part of my problem. I would think the fuel injection system would be pressurized and fuel pressure reduced with the tank open to air.

I have to agree with you. The NAPA store here said they "couldn't find it". I'll have to try the NAPA down the hill. It's the one I found at carparts.com that says "unlawful in CA". It has something to do with the smog police pressure testing. So, I'm thinking there's gotta be another P/N. That test wasn't required until December 2007, I can't imagine what the difference between the rubber neck could be, unless CA had different filler necks back in 86-92 than the rest of the Country. My truck is an Ohio truck so it is probably why the smog police haven't dinged me, IIRC the only differences in filler tubes may have been an overflow tube that routed overflowed gas back into the fuel tank :dunno: . The extra hose was about 1/4 inch diameter tube that connected from the neck assembly to a nipple in the gas tank. I don't know if this was true of Jeeps, but I seem to remember this in older NIssan's :dunno:

:agree: Needs smaller tires, but otherwise that thang is schweet. I don't think they're asking too much. It's more than I could spend for it, but it's not a bad price. What would a new Chebbie cost ya? X2 What do folks think of this one? http://www.jeeptruck.com/sale/ad258/ad258.html

jeepdoggydogB replied to SuperWade2's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff

jeepdoggydogB replied to SuperWade2's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
It appears that the front bumper should be black not chrome. In all my sales literature the bumpers on the 91-2 Eliminators were black, so I would agree it is "altered" :rotfl2:
