If anyone would be so kind as to post any random pictures they have of the Iron Rock Offroad 3 link long arm front suspension installation, it would be appreciated. My application is very custom, but it looks like it may fit. If it does, I'd rather just buy it than build it, as quite frankly I've already got way too many things to do on this Comanche without making my own front long arm kit. However, I really can't tell from the few pictures on their website nor what I found Googling. Thanks a bunchly.

You need an AX-15 crossmember, mounting plate, and mount from an XJ. The mount itself is a wear part, so just buy a new one. You can butcher or make the other parts if you need to, but that's assuming some fabrication ability. Also, the tailhousing on the TJ tranny is drilled to the wrong clock angle for your tcase, it may (probably) hit the floor.

It won't come back down any time soon. There won't be any tax relief, and the supply/demand situation indicates that it should only get worse for the next year.

2.009 spotted in Vancouver today. That's $7.59 a gallon. I paid 1.749 to fill up when I left work. $6.61 a gallon.

Not really a flyby per se, but back when I worked on rappel stuff. I normally don't bother to take pictures. Too busy with my jerb. C5s are cool. We had one pull some ridiculous takeoff here recently and shake the crap out of the hangar. Not sure why they stopped in, normally they don't, typically only helicopters and fighter jets stop here on the way to Alaska because of their poor range.

I think you could also argue that people who want to bolt a 2.5L to an AX-15 are not that common.

I looked around and can't find stock/listings for either right now. I'm wondering if this is more of a supply chain issue (not to beat that dead horse we've been hearing constantly for the last 2 years) than them being actually discontinued? There's an awful lot of XJs still on the road. If it's going to be an issue I better find a new windshield soon...

The Lenovo one I've been issued is rock solid. It uses Thunderbolt USB-C. I could see it being bad if it used one of the older USB standards. 3 different people use it, and if none of my cross shifts have broken it yet, so it must be pretty good.

Also, since ultimately you're going to print in greyscale, this is what it would look like (mostly). If I moved the box off the shelf it might have been better. But you're getting what you paid for.

I think I'll just drill it. I can't find anyone that's had it fail.

Looks like they didn't set the clearance right on the main bearings to begin with. Also, what oil and filters have you been using?

Just some friendly life advice from somebody who has been there. Don't pull 25 hour shifts, especially not if you're operating dangerous equipment or working on critical devices. After 18 hours you're fatigued enough to be equivalent to what is considered legally intoxicated. It will get worse from there. We had a young guy stuff the loader bucket through our hangar door right after Christmas. Had to get the prybars and the sledgehammers out to straighten it enough to open, and had our air ambulance offline until we could do so. He had been plowing snow starting the afternoon before and then continued all through the night. I'm pretty happy he only hit the door, and that we managed to get it working before missing a call. I've also done some incredibly stupid things as the direct result of fatigue.

Broken off clutch fingers can give you noises like that too... But normally you have other clutch issues when that happens. It really is a matter of trying to isolate the noise, along with examining the contents of the oil pan and filter. The filter is easy to start with, soooo....

I use one at work. I could snag a picture if you want the next time I'm in there, but honestly it looks just like a regular desktop "office" setup. Just I plug my laptop into the dock instead of having an actual computer tucked away. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse to keep the clutter down, but there's a printer, monitor, speakers, mic (sometimes) all plugged into the dock. Do you want a M$Paint drawing? I'm really good at those.

No idea. Probably an inch or so.

I'd be investigating the failure more before proceeding.
