  1. Can't turn the amperage down way low? And the wire speed up?
  2. Image Not Found Yeah, it's an XJ. And it needs a little work. Yes, I managed to rip one of the ears off of it... Otherwise it wasn't a bad idea.
  3. Talking to some-booday recently, they said that they had a similar problem. They used a scotch-brite (or however you spell that) pad on it, and it came off....
  4. Knowing Jeep they used the wrong tags on the VIN.
  5. Okay, yeah, no, I have't... I bet I could figure it out though.
  6. There should be a place that you can upload files/pages to so that they are accessable by the public...
  7. Wait, you can't make the page address? Hmm... Okay, it really depends how the software you've got works. How'd you make the index, or default domain page (when you type in www.comancheclub.com)?
  8. Problem with using MS word to make HTML documents is it is REALLY stupid. I can make you a page templait. It's fairly easy to write basic HTML, in that it is really no harder than BBC that you use in the forum. But, it all depends on how pretty you want it. And how the software you actually have works.
  9. Pete, umm, are you totally illiterate when it comes to web design or such? I mean, I could help you out. I can't do fancy, but I can show you just how hardcore you can get with plain html... And I'm more than willing to write content! Providing it's okay that I inject my umm, 'unique' personal opinons (okay, maybe not).
  10. Sounds like there's a story there...
  11. How are you fixing that wrecked clear? I'm just going to brush my XJ at some point...
  12. I try to quietly poach everyone from that web site.
  13. Never should have given away the 86. Ah well, I don't need a trailer.
  14. That's awesome. What I like about where I am right now is it's local for me. So, no having to move or anything, yet. Which is a big thing, because I know as soon as I dissapear my truck will pretty much have to go. And thread hijacking is perfectly fine! I think that as soon as he re-indexs his dist. it'll work. It's unlikely that there's anything really wrong with his 4.0, they're tanks.
  15. Will be apprenticing in a while. For now I'm stuck doing the basic stuff. I'm at nothern light's 'southern' campus, so we're limited as far as actual aircraft. As in, we have none residing. But as soon as I move up to the main campus, apparently they've got a bell 206, 212, and a couple cessna's. But, we've got more non-servicable engines to play with than we'll EVER know what to do with.
  16. Dude! I've just started my AME at Northern Light's in BC. There's a few :Canadaflag: around here.
  17. Are you an AME? I forgot, there's a mark on the harmonic balancer that indicates TDC. It's hard to see.
  18. Possibly. Re-index the dist 180 degrees from what it is and try again. Even the best get it wrong.
  19. The seals will leak. If you force air into whatever they are sealing, instead of water coming in through the leaks, air will come out. It's a longevity thing. You can survive a lot without, but it's recommended you change the fluids after every water crossing in that case.
  20. The canadian crap tool store "princess auto" sells one for about $20. Seems to work fine.
  21. Welded mine on at 42". That's the nearest imperial measure. Looks like it worked.
  22. Doesn't make much difference at all. I eschewed mine pretty much when I bought it. First winter I had it, the mercury was hitting -40. Still warms up in decent time (given the conditions).
  23. Maybe. Maybe not. I'd ask the ZJ guys. Hmmm, www.mallcrawlin.com would be the better bet. The front ends are VERY similar.
  24. Get an isuzu 12B, or D44, both can be had with 4.56s easy. Or a toyota 8". Or, or, a D60. Or, a ford 9 third out of a truck, and a housing from a bronco.
  25. Spam can be so interesting. I mean, since when have we discussed public transportation plans? Unless they're the ones involving a small minority of the public, and just happen to start where the pavement ends.
