  1. I just about had it sitting on all 4 tires today. Other than just as I was knocking the front axle into place the hi-lift kicked out. One jackstand just about went through the floor. Another crushed a rocker. The front tires/springs ate it into the fenders. Whole front end seems kinda screwy now. Ah well. I'll fix it tomorrow.
  2. The no-slip apparently is 'better'. Or is that the lock-right? I dunno, throw in whichever one seems heavier.
  3. Cappa is 'ere, eh? Hmm. I like you. You're an a$$hole. But I like a$$holes. Oh, and I couldn't actually be bothered to read the whole thread.
  4. Probably not too well! Ah, if you built it right, anything is possible.
  5. Yeah, instead it's a unibody cooked up by a super-computer owned by renault. Or was it bendix that cooked it up? Oh, who cares.
  6. Depends what you want to do with it. Personally, I'd be more worried about the 4-link part of this than anything else. I've thought about it, but decided if I was to do it: A) Fuel tank would be moved/ditched B) 6" of wheelbase would be added C) Everything behind the tires would get chopped Which would give me a whole new playing field.
  7. Pretty certain they are. I just think they're kinda cool as they're so odd. Pusher props are probably not popular for a reason.
  8. Enough JATO packs and nothing is impossible! Just, it probably wouldn't do it in one peice. And I'm not about to be the one to try it.
  9. Flying boats are awesome! Ever see a Martin Mars? They use them to fight forest fires in my neck of the woods. There's also a good ol' Buccaneer outside the hanger right now. Definatly a cool aircraft if you're into visiting remote lakes. Only downside to those things is that your payload capacity is horrid.
  10. Oh, and everyone knows the lancaster was the best bomber...
  11. I think he means the B1-b? But, the Arrow was amazing. I can never get over it being scrapped! It had some much potential. It's a definatly a part of Canadian history that I am NOT proud of.
  12. Actually the F-body platform (Trans-ams,Camaros) was just temporarily put on the back burner to increase Corvette sales, and to boost interest so people will snap them up when they bring them back in late 2007. It's all just marketing hype BS with those cars. Really? Well, I've been out of the f-body circles for a while. Seeing as how a 2001 T/A goes for $40K+ here, I don't think I'm going to be able to afford one anytime soon.
  13. The 5 spokes are 8" wide? If so, that's why they didn't rub. With a 7" wheel with 5.25" BS a 235 will rub the LCA. But, just barely..
  14. Asshogger? Well, looks sweet.
  15. I don't think they can use the XJ/MJ unibody in N. America anymore because of reasons regarding collisions. That's why the Trans Am/Camaro got killed, same year methinks.
  16. Gotcha. It seemed way too complicated (and politically black) to have it sound french.
  17. How do you pronounce that? Target, as in target practice? Or Target, as in all you can eat buffet? Gotta ask, don't have 'em here.
  18. How much you want to spend? TNT customs long arms...
  19. My 235 A/Ts would rub the control arms...
  20. It'll fit. Gear ratios might give you headaches.
  21. Do you know if he has a build up thread anywhere? I think I want to narrow up my front like that.... Like, I've already cut it all apart. Might as well.
  22. Does it sound internal or external? Might be the good ol' cracked header flapping around.
  23. Well, those cherokee guys, it's suprising what they don't know.
  24. You can drill new holes in your existing spring perches to do the same thing.
  25. Nah, I just keep calling people idiots in the cherokee section. This time it was because a guy thought a full case detroit was weaker than a lock-right, and that rough country lift kits were superior to RE.
