  1. ^hit it on the head.
  2. Second chances always come at the worst time... Saw your sale ad on JeepKings, this is EXACTLY what I want in an MJ, save for the '88 model year BUT I have an 87 I can swap VIN's with, if only I had the money. Friggin' bills and life in general :redX: Good luck with the sale, that red Elim looks sharp as hell, get that from Lil Loco?
  3. ^ Is possibly the youngest board member?
  4. Mighty $#!&ty! My Dad has it chronic. After the 3rd tome with 10kV across the nipples to get'er thumpin' right and the 3rd time of it just returning to it's now regular-irregular heartbeat, He just lives with it, albeit a steady timing of a few different pills. Millwright of 35 years, damn hard workin' man every day. You should be a-ok in a few days
  5. Posted to IFSJA.org Someone needs a Vigilante 327 for $200 :D
  6. Its got a 3" lift on it now, just can't tell under the dirt :D It's nothing more than an exploration truck - Old Logging/Fire roads and Historical Colonization roads are what I mainly trek. Bumpers have been fab'd and are waiting on springtime and my girlfriend's '68 Monaco to hit the streets again so I have garage space
  7. I've got the classic MJ tank. Leaks from everywhere and then some. Sticking an XJ tank in the bed for now, in a toolbox for the remainder of the winter, but I need a good replacement tank that won't rust out again. Was throwing around the idea of an S-10 tank or a Ranger tank. Anyone swapped out for another tank?
  8. Can;t remember if Ive posted up the new truck that Ive unfortunately owned for over a year before I plated it earlier this summer. Ol'e time member coming back from Hiatus. HooYeah! '87 SWB, 4.0/AW-4/NP231 30/35 -3.55's. Paid $400 for it Sept 4th of 2008 and when I started working again this past August, it got plated with a new windshield and some new meats. May I present you, The Black Eye
  9. Good on you, fellow canuck! Make the Maple Leaf proud :clapping:
  10. THe one the OP just made a deal on looks like a TJ shifter. Too smooth to be a YJ shifter knobby.
  11. For answers sake, I posted with the same issue a few weeks back. Mine was a fubar'd EGR valve.
  12. Half price what? This is Wildman. Spare Part Piles are his specialty :D
  13. Nice, Pete. The block ground looks good, but I'll check it anyway.
  14. I know eh, this dropped itself on me when it went from driving 15 feet TOPS to carting my @$$ to work each day. Its still running super rich as fawk. I swapped out a known good O2 sensor lastnight. I'm wondering if my coil is weak, as its began to putt-putt while at speed (unless I'm accelerating)
  15. Do IT Do IT!~
  16. How would one clean out a MAP? Just for future reference as.... Unplugging the MAP at Idle makes it idle even worse, if there even is a step down from bag of sh it
  17. No random deaths nor will it die if I keep working the gas pedal Pete, all of them are nice and clean save for the O2. THats my next step
  18. 1987 MJ 4.0 AW4 - NP231 If I'm in gear idling at say a stoplight, it will settle into a 250-400 RPM idle, will die when at operating temps. In Park/Neut will sit around 500-700rpm If by chance it doesn't die, as I accel from the stoplight, it bogs. Rich fuel smell from exhaust. Unknown age of O2 sensor. Where should I start looking? The IAC was my first complaint but I'd like a 2nd opinion.
  19. A few of us watched that truck take its shape via the build thread here. Nice to see it again.
  20. I'm going to talk to Pat. This isn't right.
  21. Possibly that the Tcase lever is half'n'half 2wd 4x PT
  22. Colton - Southeastern Ontari-ari-ari-o Wheelable rig in T-minus 3 months
  23. Not an issue either, have a trans to grab in Milton and a friend down on Lakeshore Blvd West. Probably a couple weeks 'afore I make it up. Still a few kinks to work out on my own MJ Awesome though, thank you.
  24. I am ditching the bench, I hope to get it out in the next two weeks, but I have to warn you that the sliders do not work properly and there is some rust damage. If you are still interested in it I will try to get some pics of the brackets for you and I will be careful when removing it. The passenger side is pretty good, but the driver side bracket is a bit like swiss cheese. Rust issues are nothing new, I'll take it. The last MJ I had, the bench was adjustable via hammer :rotfl2:
  25. Nice MJ. I contemplated it, saw it on Kijiji. Question, are you ditching the bench? I'm looking for one and I've got factory MJ buckets WITH proper brackets to trade?
