  1. Yeah, I noticed that with alot that I found at local JYs. They would seperate, and be worthless. Just as bad as universal ones.
  2. It's funny that you mentioned someone stealing the tail gate. There is a guy who lived by my parents who was also restoring a Comanche. He was talking to me about how hard it was for him to find a cap for his clutch fluid reservoir, and some other small things. Well, one day while I was out of town, I left my truck at my parents. Came home and his truck was finally up and running. And wouldn't you know, all the things he said he was missing were suddenly and coincidentally missing from mine now! Douchebag.
  3. I have a complete noob question here. I'm trying to change the color of my interior, and I came across an awesome find. An 88' cherokee that got wrecked about two months after it was purchased, then it sat in the garage for about 20 years! The interior is PERFECT. The seats look brand new, no dust was even inside. So I bought the two bucket seats, the center console, the door panels, the dash and the steering wheel. Now my question is this. If I don't find the rest of the interior panels for the truck, can I paint the existing ones? If so, what type of paint should I use?
  4. Alright! That would be fantastic! How should I send the money?
  5. Okay, that defenitely helps. I'll try to get to my dad's shop for that. We were considering the same thing, but I really wanted to see if anyone knew where I could order a stock one from. I've tried soo many junkyards.
  6. Hello all, I bought an 88' Pioneer with the 242 L6 in IMMACULATE condition. However, there are some small issues. I just fixed one, which was a leaking master cylinder, so in comparison, my latest issue is small. First is my shift knob. When I purchased it, it had a golf ball that was bored out to fit as a shift knob. I tossed it and mistakingly installed a universal shift knob. I've been through about 15 since. What can I use that will be more permanent, or do you know where I can get an original? Also, any ideas how to prevent my shift rod from detaching? It comes free every once in a while. I'll post pics of the beauty soon, as well as my extensive project of customizing her.
