  2. I've heard the same about most of rusty's stuff that he builds...For this reason only i'd stay away from his product. I just purchased an entire ZJ steering set up, and it's definetly bigger. Best part is that you can install it all yourself with no drilling or reaming. The entire set up cost me about $250+tax. I've seen nice beefy set ups out there for alittle more than that. It really comes down to tire size. If you plan on keeping the dana30 and running large tires, then i'd recommend spending a few extra bucks and getting an aftermarket set up. I really wish I saw this before I get my ZJ set up  : http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... ry_Code=S6
  3. As long as the XJ bracket is the straight style. Oh and I believe you need MJ bucket brackets to make it work..I could be wrong. I'm also pretty sure the seats have to be pre 95, which I also could be wrong again. I'm in the middle of this swap and just located some seats (out of a 94) that i'll probably pick up later this week. I also have some mj bucket brakets waiting in my garage. I'll definetley get some pictures and notes posted once it's all said & done. Everyone talks about this mod but i haven't seen any real write up done about it.
  4. Seen it before, but still crazy. Reminds us how strong jeeps are (or aren't..?) Here's a good one: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 379&q=Jeep :brows:
  5. He told me about it all, and makes me want to get my own made ;)
  6. SouthLakeMJ  :laughin: :rotfl2:  I guess you can call me the 'fun police'
  7. I ordered the flat black J-e-e-p decals for my truck's tailgate and they arrived today:  I'll update when I put them on (hopefully sometime soon). I just wanted to give Spencer some recognition because he's a nice guy who went above what I expected (and gave me a free 'only in a MJ' decal!) Thanks Spencer! Make your tailgates pretty: http://www.jeepsticker.com/ :brows:
  8. I have no clue. But they are a pretty legit company  EDIT: Now that I think about it, you could probably run this and get away with it (It's a great budget boost, and it's hard to install): http://www.teraflx.com/pages/jeepbuilde ... 77&subID=2 Kinda looks like that's all you need to clear those tires alittle better.
  9. Well depending on how much trimming you want to do (probably not too much if you want the police off your back) you could get away with 3.5"+. How wide are the tires? If they are pretty wide that will also affect how much trimming you must do. And if you didn't know everyone pretty much agrees on Rubicon Express having some of the best lift components: http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Jeep.htm?Vid=B4C179558 How strict are the laws regaurding lifted vehicles over there in Norway? Do you have any more pictures of your truck?
  10. I second that
  11. It's only at $50
  12. I know somebody has done it out there! Any pics? My buddy has some extra that I can get my hands on so I think I may do it some time...
  13. So I picked up a brand spanking new heater core from kragens (decided I couldn't handle another winter without heat) and was hoping to install it in about a day. I'll be using haynes' and chilton manuals and whatever write ups I can find on NAXJA. How long has it taken those who have done it? Any special tools or advice? Let's get it awn!
  14. www,myspace.com/HELL NO I WILL NEVER!
  15. Driving the heep in backcountry of Tahoe  My hot girlfriend and I in the Bay Area :brows:
  16. Reading your first post: -how old is the starter itself? (You may want to swap/clean with dielectric spray) -water in the cap? (WD-40 helps with that) -check for loose wires (starter, battery, cap-to-injectors, etc) Thats all I can really think about off the top of my head. When my mj was acting alittle similar to yours it ended up being a dying fuel pump (I thought it was an electrical short somewhere  ) You must keep in mind that it's a Jeep. They do strange things for no reason every now and again.
  17. pervert

  23. Care to elaborate? IE just doesn't suck. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". I've heard some people use fire fox to 'stick it' to microsoft...not that anyone there is worried... Either way it's all a conspiracy. And for the record; spel chekcers r 4 the weeck. ;)
  24. Yea really! I'm averaging about 2 new members added daily since the site first started! You mailed off your info...? E-mailed? EDIT: Woops..your email was labeled as 'junk'! Anyway, i'm working on putting your info online right now.
  25. My first thought was that no you really couldn't. However that's untrue. You can do anything, it all just depends on how much it'll leak or how ugly/cool it'll look. Go for it! ;)
