  1. if your considering reno, why not Lake Tahoe? Or specifically South Lake Tahoe? Beautiful year round, mellow locals, and great snow! Otherwise, Taos. That place is rad (went there once when i was little)
  2. :fool: What's the official term for that new type of heavy metal (lamb of god and mastadon)? :beerhead: Do you listen to ISIS or Maserati? I really like that more mellow "stoner rock". :chillin:
  3. Roger that. Thanks man
  4. woah really? You gonna charge me for it? I can definetly pay for shipping. This is ofcourse if you have it.
  5. I've run monroe sensa tracs, rancho 5,000's, and OME nitro chargers. The OME's have been the smoothest ride both on and off road. I should mention that it was the only shock on a lifted truck (the sensa tracs and rancho 5000's were on stock vehicles) 2 thumbs up for OME!
  6. There it is.... Thanks Eagle  Quick question: I see in markus' write up that he adjusts the alignment while the jeep is on the ground, is this the proper way to do it? I was thinking of jacking it up to put less stress on the adjusting sleeves - or am i crazy?
  7. Awesome, thanks. I'll be at it tomorrow
  8. I love em! (btw you spelled 'slayer' wrong - it's SLAYER). I saw em acouple years back at Ozzfest  Lately though i've been the biggest pantera fan :chillin:

  10. Anyone have a write up on how to align your own steering? I've seen them floating around but can't locate any. Any help is appreciated! I put in my v8 ZJ steering components today and floating off to the side of the road  (pics: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... 5642#25642 )

  12. I don't think anyone mentioned it yet: :D :brows: :teehee: The load sensing brake doohickey is busted and hasn't given me any problems yet. I've tested it on several different surfaces too I really need to rip it out of there and get a new prop valve. I also don't have the parking brake hooked up yet. Did MORE make a 8.8 conversion kit at one point in time (parking brake, leaf perches, shock mounts, etc)? I haven't seen it on their website. EDIT: http://www.jeepersandcreepers.com/clien ... prokey=246 cheesus thats pricey!!

    Hill climb!

    DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
  17. Awesome pictures man! I have BFG m/ts and it snows a good amount here and they do fine (in most types of snow anyway). What really helps is when you have weight in the rear (tool box, spare, hi lift, wood, rocks, whatever...). I'd slide alot less in the parking lots if I had more weight back there (and less skinny pedal  )

    Stuck in a rut

Lately i've been feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm finding less time to work on the Jeep (partly due to finals week happening next week  ). Plus the snow is falling. Now i'm juggling snowboarding, wrenching, and school. Oh and I have a girlfriend and christmas is coming  I realize this isn't much to most of you - but damn, does time fly around the holidays or what!? I just needed to vent and maybe have a wrenching party at my place :brows:  :chillin:
