  1. Nice buy!!!!!
  2. I will not be able to make this trip. Just to many other things going with Family/other wheeling trips/birthdays and the fact I am pinching pennys so to keep the MJ and buy a capable 4 seat wheeler for the kids. I'm really sad to miss this MJ run!!!
  3. Just got the bed sliders back from powder coat and re-installed!!
  4. Thank you very much sir.
  5. We talked a little after the interest in the bed sliders. We are not interested in starting any kind of business of do-it-yourself kits or anything. Best luck would be if you live close and he has the extra time to take your rig and do the work you want done in his shop.
  6. I am not sure, rough guess trail ready would be 5000 range. I actually need to do a small dump run, I'll just use the bed instead of my little trailer. On way out I'll be able to see the weight and let you know what it weighs without tools, trail gear, camping gear at least.
  7. They make vinyle sticker in sheets that looks like wood. Same material they wrap all vehicles with these days. Its fade resistant, sticks right on, and peels right off when you decide (realize) it looks bad. ;) Hell of a lot easier than veneer, and cheaper...and in a year or two will surely hold up better.
  8. Here ya go....Jeep ad ready...
  9. Kate took the Jeep to work today...I have this underlying stress this morning. I guess its probably how she felt the first time I took the kids to do something without her :laughin: It takes a lot to watch my love drive away, and Kate too. Oh my!.......haha.
  10. I have run about every "mud terrain" on the market. I truly believe the best (and very under rated) tire is the Cooper STT Kevlar. They are of course what I currently run on my MJ. They are great on the street, wear very well, clean out good, and just plain hook up on rock. I have watched them walk circles around goodyear MTR's and BFG's. I am just one opinion, but you'll notice most of the guys I run with use the same tire. There is a reason. If you get a chance, check them out. (Also, I have never seen one get a sidewall gouge as of yet) Very strong tires. The only downfall is they only make them up to 37's. If they ever make a 40 (rumor is they might) it will hit the big tire drivers by storm. By the way they use these tires in "stock" form on some of the top Pro-lite trucks on the short course circuits. That says something!
  11. That is my buddy Luke's 1st gen Toyota. Very nice, very clean truck... Linked in front with Bilstien coilovers and bumps. chevy 63 rears, tucked drivetrain flush to frame, in cab cage, 3.4liter, turbo 5 speed, dual cases, rear 4.7....
  12. I wonder if they will have my trophy from last year that was never sent? Either way, I'll be there if not in Moab..

    Evans...

Heading up to Evans on Saturday (june 29th) if any NW locals want to join Kate and I.
  15. I have so many comments about this "custom" rig. The seats crack me up, almost as much as the "roll bar padding" that is empty, so it looks like it has a cage.... I really didn't feel like barfing in my mouth tonight, but oh well...
  16. I'm so bad about pictures. I did just get a GOPRO, and still only took 1 short video (I know, I SUCK!). I'll see if I can figure out how to upload it.
  17. Great meeting you this weekend Jason. That is one burly rig you have there. Sorry I didn't meet up with you for the night run, by the time it got dark I had one to many Vodka/7's to be out on a trail!. Cheers!
  18. Had a great weekend at Liberty. The MJ was flawless the whole trip. Ran into Jason that owns the white coilovered/exo'd/5.3 swapped MJ too. Great guy.
  19. He could probably make a DIY kit for around $300. You would get pre broke base with holes, bent tube, and stand-offs. You would have to drill bed, install threaded rivits, and weld it all together... If anyone is seriously interested pm me and I can have him figure out exact price and such....
  20. I posted a couple pics of this one awhile back when it cruised by in Olympia, Wa. The red one is a cleaner done deal, but this is nice too... very nice!!
  21. I forgot them at the body shop.... :rotf:
  22. If you make it up here to visit them PM me and we will make it happen. Thanks for the compliments, I must give a ton of credit to Wes Hepp on this build...he is the true fabricator, I just dabble and constantly challenge him for a unique artistic look.
  23. Those plates look great.. They bolt to these plates. Willy
