  1. What does the inner brace look like? I picked up a set, but curious if the brace is actually needed, or if I can potentially using bolt+nut or even a rivnut to get them installed. Or is the metal on the door too thin?
  2. Well, I thought I was good with my random stall/no-start issue... but it came back yesterday. Luckily was just moving it around the yard, but after 500+ trouble free miles, here it comes. I wonder if it's a heat soak issue--it was sitting in my driveway for a few hours with the sun beating down on it when I went to go move it. Started up, was reversing down the driveway and just died. Wouldn't start back up again right away, got out and put a few things in the bed, then started up without issue. Weird.
  3. Got mine today, looks AWESOME! Thanks again!
  4. Not much going on. Earning it's keep, hauled a load of wood for my stepdad. Just a little bit of squat...
  5. Nothing new happening here (yet)... Drove it another ~150 miles to CT to pick up an exhaust for my Volvo, no shutdown issues at all. Vitals all looked good, as well. Was the comfiest or smoothest drive, but hey, I wasn't expecting that! Debating on find a rusted out '97+ to swap the front clip, interior, and drivetrain over. Not sure how serious I am about that as I don't have the greatest facilities to do a swap of that magnitude (my garage is way too small).
  6. I swear by General Grabber A/TX tires. Had a few sets on multiple vehicles, never failed me. I don't think they're too expensive, not as much as the coveted BFG ATs
  7. Thanks, I'm in--let me know where you'd like me to send $$.
  8. I'm down with that--let me know if you want me to send my info over to you in a PM.
  9. I'm definitely interested, if you can get a quote for shipping to 01606. Thanks!
  10. Was that the one in NY?
  11. I think you're right on with escritorio--here's a Microsoft site in Spanish that refers to the desktop as such: https://docs.microsoft.com/es-mx/windows/win32/uxguide/winenv-desktop
  12. Yeah, you can def. hear the pump working if you try to use it while the vehicle is off. If you don't hear it, check the plug for power, if power is present, prob. a faulty pump.
  13. I'd be interested in the towing mirror bits if you're looking to part ways and make some $$.
  14. I want to say this is pretty normal... My HO takes probably 4-5 cranks before starting.
  15. Not yet! It's not fully complete, still need to source a carpet. But I'll snag what it currently looks like next time I take it out for a spin.
  16. That's the last thing I replaced, and it hasn't happened since, so fingers crossed!
  17. Got a motorcycle jack? I've used them when dropping a transmission before.
  18. Haven't done much with the Comanche during winter--it's just too damn cold, and I don't have a garage space. I've probably driven it around 100 miles since putting the interior back together, and haven't had the weird stall/no-start issue (outlined here: https://comancheclub.com/topic/66390-91-ho-shut-off-while-driving/) Picked up a D44 that I plan on eventually swapping in after rebuilding it.
  19. I've found that I just have to anticipate it earlier than I would have, which probably makes it safer than not having it. For instance, if I see that I'm going to be coming up on someone that is going slower than I am (my Volvo will actually tell me how slow they are going, which is neat), with ACC, I have to turn my blinker on (which, in both the Jeep and Volvo, it will start to accelerate even if it may "detect" a car in front of me, because it assumes I'm passing someone, which I am) earlier than I would if I was on normal cruise control. Probably meaning that I was getting closer to the car in front of me than I should have been before changing lanes. FWIW, I keep my distance in ACC set to the lowest, unless it's $#!&ty weather. Then I add a few more seconds between myself and the car in front of me.
  20. I had ACC in my Jeep Gladiator, I enjoyed it. It does seem to brake pretty hard and abruptly, but I can't help but think it's because I'm not doing the braking myself, so I'm not anticipating it as much?
  21. Ouch! Yeah, that must be a dealership thing--I've been able to order others with a deposit, but it was fully refundable.
  22. It might make sense to still place an order for one, then continue the search--depending on the dealer, you shouldn't be locked in to purchasing the one you ordered.
  23. This just reminded me... I had placed an order through OC Auto Carpets back in August of last year. The called me a month later saying it was on backorder... Just emailed them now, still on backorder until 3/10/22. So if you're looking for something ASAP, might want to go with someone else.
  24. Could you theoretically put a AW4 behind it? Are they the same bellhousing? Obviously would have to figure out electrical.
  25. Stumbled across this, and just had to post it... never seen one before. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/788037215926183/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
