Here's how they came out. IMO, they look great. Going to have to refurb the caps now, since they look crusty. Got everything back together, not without a hiccup... Accidentally broke one of the caliper pins while I was trying to torque it down--the whole thing kept spinning and my torque wrench never clicked. Oops... I was able to get the caliper off and get the broken piece out, quick trip to the auto parts store and this time I tightened it right up until the whole thing started to spin.

That chart is great, but in general, what should we be looking for? What RPMs should we be aiming for while going 65?

I posted a camper for sale on a Sunday afternoon on FB marketplace. Got a lot of interest, and each time I said first come, first serve, and I was available whenever. Had a guy say he wanted to come Monday, I said sure. Had another guy that decided to come Sunday night, put down a deposit, and was going to pick it up later in the week. After I told the first guy, he was absolutely livid--he actually originally said "that sucks" and then messaged me again hours later, going crazy. He wasn't the only person that had scheduled a time--it's not my fault you couldn't get here before someone else?

And the parts replacement continues... I figured since I'm there, may as well slap in a new ujoint. Bought a Spicer replacement, will go to my stepdad's work to get them pressed out/in. Got a new brake dust shield as the other one was a bit banged up (partly from me trying to get the wheel hub unstuck, but I feel like someone else had the same issue before). Should be picking up the turbines from the wheel shop, had them powdercoated silver. Can't wait to see them! Here's a picture of that lug nut, after we drilled the stud out.

What's the actual difference?
-
Is there a difference between pre-91 and 91+ bezels? I didn't realize that.
-
Are you towing both of them with your Liberty?
-
That gives me plenty of time to get my MJ up and running again... I'm in!
-
I ended up getting the door lock cylinders I had recoded to the new ignition cylinder I purchased.
-
Stumbled across my original MJ's VIN when I logged into my account for the RMV. Not sure why it still shows as the title is active? I want to say I sold this around 2013. Can't remember to who, don't have a bill of sale.

For a 1991 Comanche, it looks like 53007449AB is the correct part no. Will V2507449AA fit? See a bunch of those on eBay, about half the price of the 53007449AB. Or should I just look to Moog/Timken replacements?

After a lot of swearing, drilling, hammering, chiseling, we got it out. Phew. Well, figured I would now just replace the entire hub assembly rather than just replacing the wheel stud. Why not, I'm there already...

Tried breaking the stud off by bending it--just ended up rounded the lug nut. Tried drilling it out--nothing. Tried using a multi-tool to cut the lug, somewhat worked, but the rest of the nut is recessed in the turbine, so it's hard to get to. Supposed I could take it to a welding shop after I get the wheels back, since it's on jack stands in the driveway. Or maybe find a mobile welder that can come to me. At this point, not really too concerned about damaging the turbine, since it'll be the 5th/spare if I do decide to use it.

Well, went to go take the wheels off to get them powder coated, and the front driver's side had a seized lug nut that turned into a spinning stud. Greeaaaaaat. Currently battling with that to figure out a way to take off the wheel without damaging it. So far drilling it out with a cobalt bit isn't working too well.

I’ll try, but that foam insulation piece is going to be in the way, and it doesn’t seem like it’s easy to remove it since it’s all one piece.
-
I haven't--was going to have someone soak it down while I sat in it to see if I could find where it's coming from. FWIW, the hood isn't latched all of the way down, and hasn't been for some time. Even then, I would think that water still shouldn't make it's way into the cab, right?
-
Interesting--so if you swap a newer brake booster from an XJ, and don't want to grind down the booster rod, you can replace the switch with that Napa part# above? Got any pictures of it installed?

Lug pattern will remain the same

Has anyone tried reviving the chrome with the SOS pad?
-
Just to confirm, you did tilt the lights up or down when you were trying them right? Took me forever to remember/figure that out.
-
You know, I was looking for info on this as well. Planning on getting the turbines powder coated soon, but need the caps refinished as well.
-
Well, not out of the weeds, yet. Still some damp spots on the floor after the past few days of rain. Will have to do more digging to see where it's coming from.

nos assortment of stuff
acfortier replied to Pete M's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Also, not to nit pick, but a lot of that stuff doesn't look NOS at all. the intermittent wiper switch looks dirty. -
I grabbed a spare from the JY, haven't cracked it open yet to see. I'll get around to doing that and let you know.
