    Add a leaf

you can do it either way. the first time i took mine off the xj, wasnt too difficult but its alot easier leaving the main spring on the chassi cause the bolts can be a bit of a pain sometimes. you can leave the main spring bolted to the truck and move the axle (jack the truck up higher but don't over extend the brake line) outta the way so the other springs have room to come out ( i used 2 c clamps and slowly undid them) thatd be an easiest way i know. how much of an aal are you doing? i did what was supose to be a 2" but was more like 3". it was one full length leaf, rode like crap. if your only doing a 1 or 1.5 id look into shackles. i got some beefy rocky road shackles http://www.rocky-road.com/xjshackle.html
  4. welded on the floor patch panels a little and finished welding a patch that i didnt need to cut out for my door swap, checked that my fuel pump worked and got as far as thinking about putting it in :wrench:
  5. whats a good air/fuel ratio for economy and does how accurate (a little more throttle or a little less throttle) is it in helping you monitor your fuel economy while driving?
  6. the fenders should bolt up no problem, just the style slightly changed in 97' on the xj, rounder on top of the fender and like a 6" piece was trimmed off to be flush with the header panle. alot of people trim it on the pre 97 for tire clearance
  7. :hijack: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27805 don't know why youd cut, here's a simple way
  8. around what area did you go play?
  9. its just my opnion but flex is far from the only thing you want. id rather have traction (locked) than a ton of flex, but I'm not a rock crawler. the mj is looking sweet, and I'm in love with the red wj
  10. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11077 you can go to the testing spot to tinker around with it and get it figured out. i use photobucket to host my pictures.

  12. that lower gap could be filled with fiberglass to clean it up, that looks sick tho. any pics on how they mount??
  13. i had a flowmaster 50 series, loud at idle and tinny. ive looked into magnaflows, seem to idle quite the growl when you get on it.
  14. hahaha stupid inbreds, serves him right
  15. i have the same jack but in red, pretty nice. good lowering control and fits under my vw but has enought stroke to get the jeeps up. costco (atleast around me) has the for $89 reg price.
  16. if the cat could crawl up it should be able to crawl down. thats a lessons in life it won't forget lol

  23. i agree on the heli coil, but if you have a schucks near by you car rent the ball joint press for like 5 or 10 bucks after putting down a deposit. i think autozone does the same thing
